Class Prophecy Well here it is the year 2000, and there they are the Seniors of 1977. They are gathered for a Senior class reunion here at Smithville at Christmas time. As I walk over to get a glass of punch 1 see Christine Green who is looking very good. She is now a top Model for one of the largest agencies in the world. I don’t believe it! Standing by her side is Donny Osmond. They have been married for 13 years, and now have 10 darling little Donnie’s. As we look over to the Christmas tree 1 see Sandy Moore. She told me she has now been married three times and is trying to get rid of the third. She is also a college professor at O.U. Standing beside her was Irene Smith who is now President of the First National Bank here in Smithville. All the people are hot here but wait, who is that coming in the door. She has short red hair. Oh no, It is Jackie Williams and she has cut her hair. Well she can’t say she’s known for her long red hair anymore can she! Peggy Johnson is there hiding behind the tree. 1 have heard that she is hiding from a man. I heard he’s is really a rich man. Why dosen’t she stop hiding and grab him? Oh no wonder, it’s her husband. Sorry Peggy, go ahead and hide. Coming out of the dressing room is Vada Glenn. Yes, she is married but, I think someone told me that she and her husband are never together because she is so busy in her new little Drive-In, that she never gets to go home! No wonder she is still skinny! Donald Samuels was there. Wow 1 guess he has really went straight. He looks very neat tonight, and surprised as I was to hear it, he is now President of Alchoholics Anomomys. Ronnie Wade just got here and 1 talked to him for awhile. He said that he was a fashion designer for women’s clothing in France and that is why he was late getting here. Peggy Smith just walked by. She is still single and looking. She is now a stunt car driver for Fairless interprise. There stands Beverly Webb in the corner by the strobe lights, Bev is the oldest All American groopie and still attends all the rock concerts. There sits Liz Hensley throwing paper wads at her cup across the table, Liz now has her own all-star basketball team. Kathie Denton is here and telling her story of having to go back to work at the Mena Bus Station, to bad she can’t see her Mus Cowboys again, oh well maybe it’s safer that way. 1 wonder if she thinks so? Bill Shedd brought Shirley Pollard and they got here a little late But as you know they are married now, they couldn’t help but stop by the mountain for ol ’times. Regina Broderson rode her horse Scotty all the way, but she still looks ravishing in her sexy black satin gown as always. She now is a model for Fredricks of Hollywood. Lyndon Johnson who 1 heard from a frien is not the chief of the Choctaw Tribe, and is doing very well. Tony Smith is not the admiral of the Pacific Fleet, United States Navy, so far the only thing he’s sunk is one Japanese fish- ing boat and his own rubber duck. Frank Dunagan just walked in and 1 hear he is opening a shop. The only thing is the kind of shop he’s opening “A Barber and Burger Boutique??? Some people! Jacqueline Lowman and Jeannie Watson have opened adjointing business in Battiest and Wright City. Due to circumstances beyond our control this P.A. System is not capable to tell the truth. Buddy Rowell is now working up to his own high position in his own T.V. Series, “Cock Fightning in Honobia.” Rex Blaylock who is known for being a town house flirt, will soon be caught and prosecuted by Cheryl Grant and will no longer be able to------------------Due to circumstances this paragraph is edited. Sitting on Santa’s lap is none other than Dewayne Dixon who is begging with Santa to please bring each one of his 12 child- ren something for Christmas. I guess he’s not doing so well in bowling. Out on the dance floor, yea, believe it or not you can dance now at Smithville, are a bunch of men who look like they might be a little woozy. Wayne Fairless has now spent 'A of his life trying to build a race car, but due to unsuficient funds only has half the car built. Maybe some day his dream will come true and he WILL race. You’ll never believe this but Jim Forrest became a preacher and is now traveling all over the world preaching the good word. Another one out of 30 who went straight. Stuart Freeman who barely was there if you know what I mean. He has opened up his own muscle gym in Chicago and has already made a fortune. I guess he gave up on hisseif and tries to help other people get a good build. Larry Hughes now owns one of the largest Rodeo Stock Company in America. He also owns the Idabel Sale Barn. When you get close to him you can kinda tell it to. No offense Larry! Randy Lancaster is a truck driver for Larry and he hauls bulls all over the South to Rodeo’s. He rides every once in awhile, when Vickie will let him that is. Leon Owens was there. Leon has went lots of places since high school. He goes all over with his trained dogs. I wonder if they will eat gainsburger! Wow! What is going on. Everyone is running outside. Might have known, it was Wayne Pollard outside fightning with some- body. Wayne now rides and trains wild donkeys. 1 guess he is tired of fightning so he takes it out on the donkeys. Russell Williams is still chasing after wild women so far he’s trying to ditch one now. I guess he’ll never learn. Well that’s all the 77 Seniors. It’s funny how some of them turn out the way you think they will and others really give you a surprise. w
