W SAO!!! all6! sghfll A squad of ten men comprised our Iumor Varsity In the early weeks of practice, Bob Patterson was promoted to a permanent Varsity position whlle George Schumacher, Frank Valentine, Donald Wrivht, Charles Knust and Iohn Cooper alternated between Varsity and Iunior Varsity Although composed pr1mar1ly of sophomores and juniors, the team im proved steadily as the season rolled along, and finally came through wlth seven victories Our boys made up for their lack of height and cfcperlencc with thelr Fight and spirit two attributes necessary for a successful team Coach Brightman was well pleased with the performance of his basketeers He spent much time teaching them the fundamentals and correcting mistakes individually The boys Were Well tralned and will prove to be a great help to the Varsity next year The high scoring laurels for the season went to Charles Knust Wlth 96 points and Iohn Cooper with 88 points BASKI TBALL SCHI DUI I' S H H S Oppom nts S B H S Opponents Kings Park - Huntington Kings Park ..
