English and Social Science are combined as core in junior high. Civics, ancient and world history are taught in the freshman and sophomore years. In the junior year U.S. history is taught by television. Sen- iors may take P.O.D. as an elective. Stu- dents get a clearer picture of world events by the use of films, maps, and charts.
