WILLIAM EARLS and COACH WHITE uatlbvg This year S.H.U. had a wrestling team for the first time. This team, made up of boys from grades 9 through 12, was coached by Mr. White. William Earls and Daniel Halstead were co- captains. Bill had 8 wins and I loss during the season. He went to Williamsport to the P.I.A.A. District IV preliminaries and won both matches which qualified him to go to Shamokin to participate in the District IV finals where he lost his first match. We are very proud of him since this was his first year of wrestling. Bill was one of two boys from Bradford County who participated in the District IV finals. We are hoping that the wrestling team will do as well, or better, next year. N' X ,W Q -ffmmv x w 5 if 912' S 25 x Q 2 9 . K Q X .. N, Xi iw ,, 5 L' 1'Qff5Xi ,Q 1 w .fi ,.
