JOE BARZAN-Quarterback He gave the rooters quite a thrill As his position he well did fill, His punt returns earned many a cheer And he'll be back another year. LOUIS MAZI-Guard GeGe played in the line His work there was surely fine, Tho he didn't play in season's past This year was for him the last. CHARLES RENSI-Guard Chuck was in there every game He was very far from tame, Bold and rough without a. fear We're glad he'll play another year. JIM WATKINS-Center Jim could pass as well as catch His ability is hard to match, Judging from his work at center He'll delight his next year's mentor. NORRIS BEAVERS-Tackle Although he lirst tried the backlield He would that tackling was his deal, He was good and without fear He will be needed for next year. ROBERT JOH NSON-Halfback Bob had plenty of gettup and go His work was never. never slow, His tackling and real ability Is proof that a. star he should be, ELM ER SMITH-Tackle Tolan's the name by which he's known His style of work is all his own, He was dependable in getting the ball He'll be sadly missed by the team next fall. EUGEN E ROSA-Guard A hundred and fifty pounds of T.N.T. A sensation next year he should be, Although his start was rather late His work was surely great. GEORGE JEFFERSON-End .Teft's experience served him well As his opponents can surely tell, His playing often deserved a cheer We're sorry he can't play next year. STEVE KINYO-End Steve played with all his might To help the team win the iight, His foes testify to his roughness He'1l come back next fall to show his toughness. ARTHUR PERSELLO-End A brilliant punter is this boy His passing was our rooters joy, On him we base our next year's dream Of having the Val1ey's Champion team. LEWIS SABO-Tackle Captain of this year's varsity Tackle of all 'round ability, Opponents hope low he did lay We're sorry next year he won't play. RALPH PIETRANGELO-End His tackling and all 'round ability Earned his place on the varsity, He's following in footsteps of his brother Al Keep up the good work next year, Ral. VAN DY BEAVERS-Halfback Vandy was switched from center to this position Which better suits his disposition, His ball carrying jobs were so neat We're glad next year he'll duplicate this feat. PAUL SMITH-Guard A late start handicapped this lad But each game, he gave all he had, We're glad his fine ability Is available for next year's varsity. BILL ARMSTRONG-Quarterback Handicapped by injuries many Ot grit and scrappiness he had plenty, We believe he'll be without a peer When he gets going again next year.
