Graduation Through our senior year, we have come to see The other side of our friends that changed so drastically Some of them were phony; some of them were true There were those we hated, but there were only a few We laughed, we cried with many a friend But soon our senior year will come to an end And at this time our feelings will be mixed But soon our future intentions will be fixed We have no problems or worries that matter But once June comes the easy life will shatter Our high school life we hold so dear Because college life is what we fear Our senior year has gone by, for some it ' s been twice But now it’s the start of a whole new life In high school life there were rules to obey But in college life it will be a whole new way The Proms and Balls will be greatly missed But from our minds will never be dismissed Frightened at first is how we all felt The fear that we had was kept under our belt As time went on the simplicities soon lessened The one question in our minds was where are we destined? The weekends came and we all could go wild Because we no longer had the mind of a child We were all out to get what we think life is about When we didn ' t get it we wouldn’t pout We had to try harder at everything we did To prove we’re an adult and no longer just a kid In the beginning we acted and dressed the same But the older we got the more of an individual we became All the important information teachers put on emphasis But if you think about it, we only scratched the surface All the great knowledge that we did learn Will all go towards the goal we hope to earn Credit will be given to those who took it in stride Who gave their greatest effort in whatever they tried As we see it now the future looks easy and carefree But this is only a vision in our future fantasy You made life in high school what you wanted it to be And now this will determine your lasting memory
