The J. B. Basketball Team had a record of six wins and twelve losses. They were led by Gary Acus with an eleven point average, Rick Gaynor with a nine point average, and Bob Wash- iewicz with an eight point average . . . Cheerleading tryouts are open to any girl in the student body. The girls are chosen on the basis of their appearance, responsibility, and ability to convey school spirit to others . . . The cheerleaders lead the school in rooting for the Vikings, both at home and away games. Plans were formulated in the spring to organize the student body into a pep-club.
