Mr. Cechvala was appointed as class advisor and the following students were elected as class officers: President, Walter Kuchyt; Vice-President, Cynthia Kabat; Secretary, Edward Malinowski; Treasurer, Richard Santoni. Initiation The Sophomore class officially became a part of the Smith Academy student body on September 29, 1967. The traditional activity began with a parade of underclass- men led by Initiation Chairmen Richard Burrington and Irene Glenowicz. Urged by the Seniors, skits were performed by the various members of the Sopho- more class. The evening ended with a dance sponsored by the Seniors with music by the Centuries. ' It isn ' t easy being a girl. Make-up can do wonders!
