On September 11, the sophomore class held their first class meeting at Smith Academy. Mrs. Spakowski was appointed as their class advisor. Thomas Wic- kles was elected president, and was assisted by vice-president Richard Bur- rington. George Vachula was elected treasurer, and Brenda Malinowski filled the post of secretary. The class was rep- resented in the Student Council by Wil- liam Osley and Carol Vachula. The sophomores held their dance on November 19, with Jimmy Labbee as disc jockey. The class also held two food sales as fund-raising projects. CLASS OFFICERS: Mrs. Spakowski, G. Vachula, B. Malinowski, R. Bur- rington, T. Wickles.
