SUPERINTENDENT AND PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE JOHN A. SKARYZNSKI Remember Class of 1960, as you leave Smith Academy, whether you go to further your education or whether you seek employment for what might be your life- time profession, you are to become the future citizens and leaders of our nation. The strength of a democracy lies in the integrity of its citizens. Even in this space age, a life of character is a life dominated by true moral principles. The true leader knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. The glory of our nation has been, that, in times of crisis, gifted citizens arise who, with a total commitment to the wel- fare of the nation, ignore personal popularity, and often financial gain, to serve the ends of justice. With these thoughts in mind, go and take your place in this ever changing world and may God bless you in your every endeavor.
