The Class of '66 Was Formed As We Became s lfirsl Row: Ruben Cochran, Co-Presitlcntg William Sillies, Co-Presidentglamcr-1 Olson, Co-President: Donna Armstrong, Treasurer. Second Row: Lynne Hagg, Co-President julie Mclieirnan, Secretary. As we near the close of our high scliool years, we look back at our countless happy experiences. We recall the many lasting friendships that have been made. We remember hard work shared in striving for a common goal. Our class floats were very successful. The Twilight Zone in eighth grade and Our Teanfs Bigger Than Your Team in our senior year were first prize winners. The Burning of the Court House took second prize in tenth grade. ln our freshman year we sponsored a Thanksgiving Dance and the traditional Sadie llawkins Dance followed when we were Sophomores. Our Prom, Moonlight and Roses was uniquely lovely. ln holding the annual Junior-Senior Banquet two weeks later than the prom, we created a new tradition. Then came our beautiful Christmas Ball, gayly decorated with holly and mistletoe. Two of our most enjoyable class projects were the trips to Harrisburg in eighth grade and to New York City in our senior year. These contributed to our growing store of knowledge that cannot be gained from books alone. We are proud of our class and of its every member. We will never forget the important role these high school years have played in forming the foundation for our whole lives.
