SENICDR CLASS OFFICERS William Ford, Co-President, Thomas Hanson, Co-President, Bonnie Bryington, Secretory, Kathleen Mayo, Co-President, Robert Wassom, Treasurer: James Hauck, Co-President. Our Alma Mater has given us many happy memories which we shall cherish for the years to come. As we look back, we can remember the first time our class was together as o group-the Harrisburg trip, including a tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield and Hershey Park and a visit to the capitol building. We were new to a new school as freshmen and proud to be the first freshman class of Smethport Area Junior-Senior High School. The Sadie Hawkins dance highlighted our sophomore year. A rustic atmosphere was lended by the persons of Lil' Abner, Daisy Mae and Mamm and Pappy Yokum, andthe dance was a great success. Blue Hawaii , our colorful homecoming float, won second prize. Our Junior year we received our anxiously awaited class rings. Bowling l908 was our entry in the Homecoming O O parade. We were filled with pride on May 9, 1964 when we unveiled Grecian Odyssey as our lavish prom theme. Proud of our past accomplishments as a class we entered our last year. We were expectant of a successful senior year, and all our hopes were fulfilled. Our Christmas Ball was a great success. Our trip to New York City, financed by three class proiects - magazine sales, the sale of Christmas items, and the class play, was a memorable experience. We were especially fortunate to be able to attend the New York World's Fair. Awards night, class night, baccalaureate and, finally, graduation will be the last events of our senior year. We shall never forget the wonderful class spirit that carried through all our years together. Soon, however, our ways will part, and the time will come to say good-bye to our Alma Mater .
