Holmes SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL Mrs. Eleanor Abplanalp Secretary Once again it is a pleasure to congratulate the Nunun- dah Staff, Mrs. Lombard, faculty advisor, and Mr. Carruba, art instructor, for the publication of an outstanding yearbook. These are not idle thoughts. I believe this fine educa- tional endeavor truly represents the new era of growth which we are now experiencing in the Smethport Area High School. The live and devoted teachers who compose the faculty of this high school are sharing many and varied educational experiences. The physical and psychological environment so conducive to proper learning is being evidenced beyond expectations in this fine new building. Our Nation as brought forth in the recent election must always be a nation of responsible individuals. This is per- sonal with each individualg however, a responsible person is a well educated person. The good school, therefore, is an institution which puts forth a maximum effort to give every prospective citizen that quality education so necessary to a rich, full life. Each year I can well say we are improving and moving a little closer to attaining this ultimate obiective.
