R osiz NAPOLITAN, TED V iasmm Finally came the day when the members of the Class of '50 could legally adopt the name of upperclassmen. The Hrst outstanding contribution of the class was a fine array of ten gridiron stars. They comprised the backbone of the S. H. S. undefeated team. The high- light of the season was the picturesque Homecoming Event. On the night of the goblins and witches, a highly successful incident was stagedg the junior Jamboree. At intermission, several of the girls presented a floor show. Another contribution was the Hswell gangi' of cagers. Two players were con- tributed to the jayvees, including the captain. Four members of the championship Varsity and the chief medicine-man were provided by our class. Also added to the cause was our class adviser, Mr. Vesber, who coached the Varsity to victory. When we returned from Christmas vacation, our long awaited class rings were there. Although they were long awaited, some disappeared rapidly! Still another achievement, the musicians contributed by the ever helpful Class of '5O. Eleven are in the ranks of the bandg while eleven are members of the Vested Choir. The last big event was the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom sponsored by the juniors. This was a huge successg obviously, as everything undertaken by the Class of '50 has been and will always be. 26
