CHARLES F.-ms Sec1'etn1'y. . . . . .DOROTHY JEAN I-IAUCK T1'eas7z1'e1'. . .................. PAT DONOVAN Adfuisevzv .... .... A LNIA JOHNSON, ANNE ANIJIERSON We are about to leave the place Where the major part of our last four years has been spent. To all of us this period has been one of achievement to a greater or lesser degree. No one can accurately prophesy what will be our lot in the future. Parents, friends, and teachers with their Wider experiences, will perhaps be our best advisers. May the members of our class be successful in their various endeavors. Wlien we leave these portals of learning, we must not forget that it was within them that we received our academic training. Although we shall be scattered over all the world, there will still be many memories to bring our attention back to our high school days. Perhaps some of these will be the Prom, the athletes, the musicians, the Flash or some other event in which the '49-ers took such a prominent part. We leave behind to our sponsors, our faculty, and our school our highest esteem and appreciation. May we, in the words of the angel to Abou Ben Adhem, not be found wanting. 12
