This enabled them to finish second in the Western Division of the Pennsylvania Stale College Conference with a 7-2 mark, giving Coach Bob DiSpirilo his Itosl record in five years at the Rock. The secret of the Rockās success this year was the cohesion between offense anti defense. In all seven wins, the Rocket defense did not allow more than 10 points including three shutouts ami the offense set a record for the most points scored in a season with 233. This year the team is participating in a split season schedule fulminated bv the Eastern Regional DCWS meet in New Haven. Conn, and the National DCWS meet in Cineinnatli. Ohio, both in March.
