Dean Elder Art Erbe Beverly McDowell Junior Class Hlsfory On September 5 eighteen ambitious Juniors entered Room 7 To their delight they found their home room teacher to be that dark haired blue eyed gentleman Mr Fleming To lead their class in activities they chose President Art Erbe Vice president Gwen Cyphert Secretary Beverly McDowell Treasurer Dean Elder As the school year rolled along they lost five students fMarie Black Jean Bowser Kline Exley Janet Fagley and Glenda Straightl and were left with a roll of only thirteen They started the year out right by having a bake sale and a spaghetti dinner which proved to be a great success In November they sold letters to classmates and friends and on Thanks giving raffled oft a turkey To add to their slowly growing wealth they sponsored a dance other bake ale and sold ice cream to students at noon They were overloyed when they received students who were in the library play were Bev erly McDowell and Art Erbe who was assistant stage manager Th Juniors were well represented in the music department with six members in the band and mne in the chorus As the class was small Larry Benetti was the only member of the class on th basketball team In March they started work on the Junior Senior Prom which was held on May T6 They will come out on top even though the class is small in number Good luck Juniors' I O . , , an- ' - - , S , ' , . . . the following oFficers: their class rings in time for Christmas. Erick- son had 21. Taylor and Wiser each had 6. J. V. score: Sligo 41- North Clarion 26. February8. . .We fought Knox valiantly but lost, 54-50. Erickson scored 36 points. Hartle had 6. J.
