Dedication VVe, the pupils of Sligo High School. dedicate our yearbook this year to our ideal, the American way of life. VVe Want to especially dedicate it to all the freedom that America offers to us-the freedom of press, free- dom of religion, freedom of speech, and all those other invaluable rights set up by the forefathers of our country. VVe are now seeing in other countries how all the wonderful freedoms that we have here are denied to them. VVhen we think of the war-torn lands that are in the grasp of Hitler. we can appreciate even more the American way of living. In dedicating our book we want to also think of the brave men who are giving up everything to offer their services to this great land of America. Without this great force our land would be no longer free to build to a larger extent toward our ideal. With these thoughts in mind we now dedicate our- selves to the making of our book. 4
