The Black Diamond Staff The Black Diamond Staff this year has tried to present a book that would be different from the previous ones and one that would be as interesting as it could possibly be. I The staff members were appointed by Mr. Gallagher at the beginning of the second semester. and soon work was in full swing. The contract for the photography was let to the Camp Publishing Company. New group pictures have been taken of the classes and organizations, as well as the faculty and individual pictures of the Seniors. Write-ups of the various organizations and activities were arranged and assembled under the supervision of Mr. Gallagher. the Black Diamond Advisor. All members of the staff have done their best to please everyone and wish to express their most sincere appreciation to those who co-operated in numerous ways in the publication of the Black Diamond book.

THE FACULTY LEFT TO RIGHT-Mr. Bowser. Mr. Henry, Mr. Sausser, Mr. Hartman, Mr. Gallagher. Mill Myerl. Miss Otraxia. Mr. Hartman, the principal of our school. teaches social studies and Freshman English. He has been with us a long time and we sincerely hope he will be with us for a long time to come. Miss Myers, the English teacher and head Librarian, has not been here as long as our principal but we hope she will become permanent member of our faculty. h Miss Ofrazia, our newest teacher, has shown great ability in the short time she has been here. She teaches commercial studies and foreign language. M. Sausser has been a member of the Sligo High School faculty for five years and has done much to improve the work in the music line. Besides teaching music he also teaches social studies. Mr. Bowser has been on the faculty of Sligo High for three years. He is a jolly sort of man and teaches subjects along the line of science. Mr. Henry. the coach of Sligo sports has been here only two years. He has introduced more sports into the school and is a friend as well as a coach to all who play on his team. He teaches history, health, and physical education. Mr. Gallagher has been here three years. He has made friends among all the pupils. I-Ie is advisor for the annual yearbook besides teacher oi mathematics. Qi in , .

IAMES CALLEN THE BOARD OF EDUCATION Aiding in the progress of our school system are the five men who make up the School Board. Serving our school without a salary. these able men apply their time and ability to the further development of the educational facilities of our small community. They work in close co-operation with the Principal of Sligo High School, Mr. H. A. Hartman. and are thus a vital factor in the supervision of all our school affairs. The present personnel of the Sligo School Board is made up of busi- ness and professional men whose ability and judgment are of great value in solving the many problems that arise in the business of running a school. The records of these men show their sincere interest in the welfare of our teachers and pupils.
