The next year as Juniors we met several new faces and missed some old ones. The new ones were Neta Reynolds Kathleen Wilson Margie White Fern Stice and Bernice Wilson--all from Greenwood. This year Charles and Walter held their A string positions and Rondal and .Tack proved high score men on the B team When we became Juniors we really d1d become recognized There never was a class that gave such an excellent account of itself as we did in our class play A Ready Made Family Johnny Billy Moore Carroll Ray Jack Margie Anne Bernice Billie Fay and Patricia made up the cast And it was so favorably accepted that our community asked that it be presented a second time and Allison invited us to present the play in their community auditorxurn On April Z3 we honored the Senior class and the faculty wxth a banquet in the crystal room of Marquis Hall at North Texas State College After the dinner the theme of whxch was graduation we attended the stage show where we were spotlighted by Floyd Graham orchestra director We also enjoyed several other highlights during our Junior year Our candxdates won fxrst place in the carnival and so Charles and Neta were crowned king and queen of the whole school we spent an enjoyable evening on Clear Creek roastxng wxeners and marshmallows and we decorated the stage for the graduation of the Seniors W1n1fred Margie Fern and Patricia clad in evening dresses ushered for commencement and Ann and Jolene dressed in white pique ushered at baccalaureate During our Senior year we have worked hard At every ball game we have had the concessions and have sold candy cold drinks popcorn sandwiches and anything else we could find in our cupboards With this money we took a Senior trip All year we debated where we could go to San Antonio to Old Mexico to Carlsbad Cavern or to New York SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President Billy Malone Vice President Jack Leake Secretary and Treasurer Neta Reynolds Reporter Charles Lynch Actxvity Committee Anne Bernxce and Winnxfred 10 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 . ,l 11 . .. - at 11 , . . ,, - ng . p - 1 1 1 .1 1 1 1 I 1 1 . . . ,, . ,, 1 1 , . 1 1 - 1 1 1 I 1 p . , . 1 1 1 1 1 - , I -- . . , 1 1 1 ' ...................-.......... .......................... ........... ..... ............-.............. ... ... . . ............. , ,
