ae ae RS DAN SCHROEN was a member of homeroom 319. His favorite sub- jects were math and shop. His hob- bies are golf, cars, and small gas engines. CAROLYN SCOTT was a member of homeroom 315. She was an Etta Kett Club alternate and a library assistant. Carolyn is a member of the Supreme Club at the Community Center and she enjoys playing the piano, dancing, and boys. Her favor- ite subjects were math, English and home economics. ROYCE SEEGER was a member of homeroom 212. His hobbies are pool, hunting, camping and running a boat. Roys'' favorite subjects were gym, conservation, and math. FRAN SEYMOUR was a member of homeroom 208. She participated in the 8th grade History club, Hall Guides, central homeroom committee, Etta Kett, Echo and Exodus. She took part in almost all sports. Her hob- bies are snow skiing, skating, swim- ming and danc ing. Speech, Exodus, and art were Fran's favorite subjects. JENNY SHIPLEY served as secretary of homeroom 322. She particpated in after-school sports, the chorus, hall monitors and Exodus. Her interests are listening to the radio. Jen's main hobby is Craig. Her favorite subjects were civics, art and Eng- lish. TOM SKJIE was a member of home- room 315, during his three years at Slauson. Tom enjoys working on leather. His favorite subjects were lunch and math. He was also a mem- ber of the ninth grade mixed chorus. LINDA SMITH entered Slauson in the 8th and became a member of home- room 323. She participated in jour- nalism and was a member of the Ex- odus staff. Linda's hobbies are danc- ing, listening to records, skating and going uptown. Her favorite subjects were English, math, civics, Spanish and Exodus. SUE SCHUON served as secretary of homeroom 212 in the 7th grade. Sue's favorite subject was Spanish. DOUG SCOTT was a member of homeroom 229. His favorite subjects were math, orchestra, and conserva- tion. ''Scott's'’ hobbies are collecting rocks and foreign coins. He was a member of the Btigade Boys. MIKE SEKAROS was a member of homeroom 319 and served on Exodus staff and Student Council. He par- ticipated in all sports and played tackle football. He was on the honor roll two times while in Slauson. His hobbies are racing model cars, and skiing. DOREN SHAW entered Slauson in the 7th grade and became a member of homeroom 229. She served on Etta Kett, Hall Monitors, Exodus and was an office runner. She enjoys swim- ming, skating and dancing. Her fa- vorite subjects were speech, gym and Exodus. BEN SEIG was a member of home- room 131. He was a Hall Monitor and a member of the projection club and stage crew. His hobbies are model cars while his favorite subjects were biology and civics. PHIL SLEET entered Slauson in the 8th grade and became a member of homeroom 208. His favorite subjects were lunch and English. Phil's in- trests are cars, motorcycles and girls. SHELIA SMITH served on the central homeroom committee for homeroom 208. She participated in Hall Guides, -Etta Kett, Student Counicl alternate, Co-ed Vollyball, and championship hockey. ''She's'' interests are skating, dancing, collecting foot loops and Eddie. Her favorite subjects were typing, speech, gym and home eco- nomics. Shelia also earned an ath- letic letter.

ANN ROTH was vice-president of homeroom 222. She participated in Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, Office Runner, Party Committes, all after school games, vice-president of the Student Council, and Jr. Life-saving. While in the ninth grade, Ann won lst place in Goodyears sewing contest. She was also on the honor roll. ERIC RUSTIN was a member of home- room 322. He participated in the Sci- ence Club and in the Junior Historians in 8th grade. Eric enjoyed football and swimming and also appeared on the honorable mention list several times. His hobbies are Arora racing and camping. World geography and biology were his favorite subjects. LARRY SAUTER served as vice- president and treasurer of homeroom 323. He particpated in Boys' Ath- letics, and the stamp club. His in- terests are stamps and sports. Larry was on the honorable mention all through Slauson. His favorite sub- jects were concert band, gym and french. ELKE SCHENK was a member of homeroom 319. She was a member of Etta Kett, Wather League and concert orchestra. Elkes interests are swimming and ice skating. Her favorite subjects were math and French, MARTHA SCHERDT was a member of homeroom 305. She served on Hall Guides and as secretary of Etta Kett Club. She also participated in inter- murals. Martha was on the honor roll all three years, and received all A's' in 7th grade. Her favorite subjects were algebra and civics. She also enjoys reading, knitting and sewing. ROBERT SCHMID was a member of homeroom 322. He served on central homeroom committee, and Hall Mon- itors. Bob's favorite subjects were math and English. His hobbies are skating, water skiing and swimming. JIM SCHNEIDER entered Slauson in the 8th grade and became a member of homeroom 131. He participated in soccer, basketball and tackle football. Stamp and coin collecting are Jim's hobbies. His favorite subjects were world geography and gym. JEROME RUSH went out for after- school sports while in homeroom 322. He was a member of the heavyweight championship football team. Speedy was a member of the Y.M.C.A. He liked swimming, wrestling, football, baseball, and received ribbons during field day. Jerome's hobbies are model cars and girls. His favorite subjects were gym, business orientation and metal shop. JERRY SAALFELD was a member of homeroom 131. He was a member of Boys' Athletics. He received swim- ming awards and was on the Honor Roll several times. His hobbies are swimming and music, His favorite subjects were gym, concert band, and world geography. RICHARD SCHAADT was secretary of homeroom 322. He was a member of the Stamp Club and was on the Honor Roll all through his three years at Slauson. Stamp and coin collecting, fishing and hunting are his hobbies. Among his favorite subjects were mechanical drawing, civics, algebra, and concert band. DONALD SCHERDT was a member of homeroom 212. He served as Student Council representative and as presi- dent of his homeroom. Don played on a tackle football team and partici- pated in other after-school sports. Don's hobbies are sports and model road racing cars. His favorite sub- jects are gym, civics and speech. VICKIE SCHLEYER served as treas- urer and secretary of homeroom 131. She was on Etta Kett Club, synchro- nized swimming, Exodus and ninth grade homeroom committee. Vic enjoys swimming, skating, talking, sports and listening to the Beach Boys. Her favorite subjects were civics, typing, and Exodus. DAN SCHMIDT was a member of homeroom 229. He participated in tackle football in 7th grade, softball and basketball. His favorite subjects were conservation, study hall and gym. SUE SCHONBERGER served as presi- dent and treasurer of homeroom 323. She also served on Hall Guides, Hall Monitors and Girls' Athletic Council. She participated in Sycronized Swim- ming, 50 mile swim, all intermurals and was a cheerleader in 7th grade. She received two athletic letters, one activity letter and was on the honor roll two years. Outside of school she participates in M.Y.F. and all sports.

STEVE SMITH was Boys! Athletics representative, a vice-president of homeroom 305 and served on Exodus. He participated in seventh and ninth grade football. Smitty's hobbies are bowling, basketball and golf. His favorite subjects were gym, math and conservation. MARY SORTOR was a member of homeroom 315. She was on Etta Kett and was a member of the Con- cert Orchestra. Mary was on the honor roll and honorable mention during her three years at Slauson. Ice skating, swimming and boys are her interests, while geography was her favorite subject. MIKE STAEBLER was a member of homeroom 322. He was a member of the Y.M.C.A.. Mike's hobbies are billards, horseback riding, girls, and eating. His favorite subjects were lunch and study hall. ALAN STANLEY was a member of homeroom 208. Al was on the honor roll in the 8th grade. He teaches and plays guitar. Al enjoys music and art, while his favorite subjects were math, band, and chorus. JERRY STEINKE served on Boys' Athletics and was elected treasurer of Slauson for the 9th grade 2nd semes- ter. He was also president of home- room 212. 'Jay-bird' enjoys all sports, while his favorite subjects were gym and civis. CAROL STUCKY entered Slauson in the 8th grade as a member of home- room 229. Her interests are music, sports, water skiing, swimming, sew- ing, tobaggoning, skating and snow skiing. Carol participated in band, chours, Etta-Kett, inter-muarals and the Pioneer Girls Club. Band, math and civics were her favorite subjects. ANJEL SUSLU entered Slauson in the beginning of 9th grade as a member of homeroom 319. Her interests are horses, and collecting animal cards. Anjel participated in after school sports. Algebra, and art were her favorite subjects. Exodus. CONNIE SNOW was from homeroom 322. She served on Hall Monitors, Central Homeroom Committe, Hall Guides, and was a editor of the Ex- odus staff. She participated in after school sports. While at Slauson her favorite subjects were math, English, typing and Exodus. Her main in- terests are sewing, records and bowling. SANDY SPEARS entered Slauson in the seventh grade and was a member of homeroom 322. She was captain of her homeroom, was on Etta Kett, Student Council representative and She was on the honorable mention in the seventh grade, Typing and Exodus were her favorite subjects. She participated in after-school sports and the ''Y ' dances. JIM STAMADIANOS was a member of homeroom 319. He was on the Honor Roll in the 9th grade. Stobby ' played in after-school sports and is a member of the Boy Scouts. His hob- bies are sports and coin collecting, while his favorite subjects were math, conservation, and gym. PERRY STEINHOFF was a Student Council alternate, vice-president and treasurer of homeroom 322. Perry has been on the Honor Roll in the 7th, th, 9th grades. His hobbies are model cars, baseball, pool, and hockey, while his favorite subjects were algebra, band, and mechanical drawing. CAROL STRATOS was a member of homeroom 208. Carol's hobbies are swimming, dancing, and boys. NELSON TAYLOR served as president and vice-president of homeroom 305. Nelly'' participated in hocky and foot- ball. His favorite subjects are civics, math and gym. Nelson also earnd an athletic letter. EVY TAN was a member of home- room 131. Evy played in after-school games, while her favorite subjects were civis, Spanish, and gym. Her hobbies are swimming, tennis, and reading.
