BRUCE GRAY was a member of homeroom 131, He played tackle football in the seventh grade. His hobbies are hockey and coin collect- ing. Algebra and gym were his favorite subjects. SANDY HAIBEL entered Slauson in the seventh grade and was a member of homeroom 319. MARY ANN HALL was captain of homeroom 208. ''Pepper' served on the History Club, Girls' Athletics and the Central Homeroom committee. She participated in all major and minor sports. Her hobbies are sports and vacationing, while her favorite subjects were Latin, history and unified studies. LARRY HARBISON became a member of homeroom 131, when he entered Slauson in the 7th grade. He was secretary of his homeroom and ser- ved on the Stamp Club and Projection Club; he also participated in tackle football. Larry acted in the Ann Arbor Civic Theater production of Gypsy''. His hobbies are stamps, sports, and water skiing, while gym, Latin, band and geography were his favorite subjects. PENNY HARRIS was a member of homeroom 131. ''Pen'' served on 8th grade History Club and Etta Kett. She collects records, swims, likes boys and the Beach Boys . Sewing and art were her favorite subjects. SUE HELFRICH was a member of homeroom 315. She participated in Hall Guides, the Exodus staff, Etta- Kett, the Echo staff, and the Journal- ism Club. ''Putts' was on the honor roll in the seventh grade and enjoyed art, typing, and journalism. Her hobbies are water skiing, parties, dancing, collecting records, and Har- ley Rider, SHARON HENRY was Etta Kett, Hall Monitors, and Girls' Athletics repre- sentative of homeroom 212. She was interested in music while her favorite subjects were band and chorus. MIKE GRAY was a member of home- room 322 during his three years at Slauson. He is interested in all types of animals. His favorite subject while at Slauson was civics. JOYCE HALL was a member of homeroom 315. Ann belonged to the Supreme Club. She enjoys singing. CHRIS HANSEN was a member of homeroom 322, where she served as president. She was also on Hall Monitors, Student Council, Etta Kett and Echo. Chris was on the Honor Roll all three years. Her hobbies are boys and collecting albums. Civics and math were her favorite subjects. JOHN HARDESTY was a member of homeroom 131, after entering Slauson in 9th grade. He was interested in football and received a letter in it, His favorite subject was gym. PHIL HAVICE entered Slauson in 8th grade and became a member of home- room 323, While at Slauson he was on Honorable Mention. Phil's hobbies are coin collecting, pets, fishing and drawing. His favorite subjects were math, art, gym and Spanish. RALPH HELLNER was a member of homeroom 322. He represented his homeroom on the Boys' Athletics Council, and played on the middle weight football team. Ralph's hobbies are baseball and football, while his favorite subjects were gym and biology. PAT HERGOTT was a member of homeroom 229. He was homeroom president, a Boy Scout and a mem- ber of the Portage Lake Swim Club. His hobbies are basketball, football, hockey and girls; while gym, study hall, math and lunch were his favor- ite subjects.

| ! i H | | | RICK FREDERICK served as secre- tary of homeroom 305. He was a member of Hall Guides. Rick's hobbies are playing piano and guitar, swimming and bowling. Civics and speech were his favorite subjects. CHUCK FRITTS was a member of homeroom 323. His interests are sports and swimming. ''Fritter's favorite subjects were gym, typing and math. Tackle football, basket- ball and baseball were Chuck's favor- ite activities. STEVE GARDNER entered Slauson in the seventh grade and became a mem- ber of homeroom 322. He partici- pated in tackle football. Steve's hobbies are sports and building model cars. Math and gym were his fa- vorite subjects. BETH GEEN was a member of home- room 322. She was on Hall Guides and Etta-Kett twice while at Slauson. Beth was on the honor roll all three years. Her hobbies are dancing, records, playing the piano, and boys. Her favorite subjects were biology, speech, and math. MARTHA ANN GILBEE was a mem- ber of homeroom 212. Martha's in- terests are horses and swimming. Her favorite subjects were gym and typing. ANN GOLD entered Slauson in 1964 and became a member of homeroom 322. She was a hall guide and served on Etta-Kett. Ann's hobbies are read- ing classics, art, and playing the piano. Her favorite subjects were art and Latin. DIANE GILLIAND was a member of homeroom 208 and entered Slauson in the 7th grade. ''Cookie'' enjoys boys, dancing, movies and swimming. Her favorite subjects were math, home economics, and gym. PENNY FREY was a member of homeroom 222 in the seventh and eighth grade and 229 in the ninth grade, There she served as treas- urer, homeroom captain, and repre- sentative to Girls' Athletics. She belonged to Hall Guides and Monitors, the Gymnastics Club, Jr. Lifesaving, and participated in all sports. Penny received two athletic letters. Ath- letics, ‘'Tarzan'', and joining clubs are her interests. RICHARD GANZHORN was a member of homeroom 323. He participated in Concert Band. Richard was often been on the honor roll. Fishing, football, and other sports are his in- terests. His favorite subjects were Concert Band and French. STEVE GATES served as president of homeroom 131. He was a member of Hall Guides, Boys' Athletics and participated in tackle football. ''Reno ’ enjoys water-sking, football and hockey. Gym and civics were his favorite subjects. JOAN GEDDES was a member of homeroom 322. Joan was in the 4-H club, also participated in orchestra, and the solo and ensemble festival. She came to all after-school sports. Joni was on the honor roll each year at Slauson. She enjoys folk music, animals, and playing the violin. Her favorite subjects were geography and orchestra. LEON GILBEE was a member of homeroom 131. His hobby is swim- ming. His favorite subjects while at Slauson were English and chorus. SUSAN GOULD was a member of homeroom 131.: While at Slauson, she served on Hall Guides, Etta-Kett, and was a member of the 8th grade History Club. She was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson. Sue's hobbies are sewing, playing the guitar, and listening to records made by British groups. Her favorite sub- jects were speech, civics, and home economics. CATHY GINGLES entered Slauson in the seventh grade and became a mem- ber of homeroom 319. Cathy par- ticipated in Student Council and Life- saving. She enjoys watersking, dancing, and goofing around. Speech, civics and algebra were her favorite subjects.

She served on the Student Council, Echo staff, Girls' Athletics, and worked in the library. Janie's hobbies are horseback riding, and skating. Her favorite subjects were Latin, and Concert Band. PETE HIRTH was a member of homeroom 222; participated in tackle football in the seventh grade, and played after-school soccer in the ninth grade. He was also on the honor roll in both eighth and ninth grade. Pete's hobbies are football, baseball, hunting and camping. While at Slauson math, conservation, and gym were his favorite subjects. DIANA HOLDEN was a member of homeroom 208. She was treasurer of the Silver Spurs 4H club. Diana's interests are horseback riding, swim- ming, skiing, ice-skating, and playing the guitar, while her favorite subjects were English and gym. THERESA HOLZAPFEL served as secretary of homeroom 315. She was on the Echo staff, and participated in the ninth grade History Club. Theresa was on the honor roll most of the time at Slauson. Some of her hobbies include swimming and skating, while her favorite subjects were civics, home economics, geography, and gym. LISE HOSENEY became a member of homeroom 208 upon entering Slauson in the seventh grade. She enjoys drawing, swimming, listening to records and Dave Alexander. She participated in Hall Guides, Echo staff and afterschool sports while her favorite subjects were journalism and art. PAULA HOUSER was a member of homeroom 305. She participated in Hall Guides, eighth grade chorus, and eighth and ninth grade history club. Paula was on the honor roll all the time while at Slauson and got all A's one marking period. Her hobbies are sewing, reading, and horseback riding. Her favorite subjects were algebra, biology, and civics. RUSSELL HOWARD was a member of homeroom 319. ‘ 'Skippy'' belongs to the Y.M.C.A., Boy Scouts, and the Ann Arbor Community Center. He participated in all school sports. Skippy's hobbies are model cars, ice skating, and swimming. His favorite subjects were math, gym, and shop. PEGGY HICKONBOTTOM entered Slauson in the eighth grade, and became a member of homeroom 212. She enjoyed playing the piano and art, while her favorite subjects were typing, business orientation, and art. BILL HOFFMAN was a member of homero om 323 where he served as president. ‘''Willy'' was a Boys' Ath- letics representative and a hall monitor. He participated in tackle football, intermurals and received an Athletic letter. Bill's intrests are sports and girls. His favorite sub- jects were gym, typing and math. TIM HOLTFRETER was secretary of homeroom 222. He also served on the noon hour movie group, projection club, and belonged to the Exodus staff. Tim was on the honor roll almost all the time he was at Slauson. His in- terests include pets, hunting, camp- ing, stamps, ice hockey, and chess. Math, Spanish, gym, and band were Tim's favorite subjects. DIANA HOPPER was a member of homeroom 222 and participated in Hall Guides and the Student Council. She was on the honor roll in the 8th and 9th grades. Her hobbies include rec- ords and painting. While at Slauson Diana's favorite subjects were typing, sewing, and English. BRAD HOUGHTALIN was a member of homeroom 229, he belonged to the YMCA and was an assistant gym coach there. Brad liked all sports, especially golf and basketball. He won a letter in the eighth grade and was on the all-star basketball team. Brad's favorite subjects were lunch and gym. PAMELA HOWARD was president of homeroom 212 and served on Girls' Athletics. ''Pam'' was also in the Chiffons Club (Ann Arbor Community Center). Her interests are sewing, cooking, skating, and dancing. Pamela's favorite subjects were lunch, gym and home economics. PEGGY HOYT entered Slauson in the 8th grade and become a menber of homeroom 229. She played all inter- mural sports, was president, vice- president and secretary of her home- room and was on the honor roll. She was a member of the Journalism Club second semester. Her interests are writing, drama, swimming, rec- ords and sports. ‘''Pegs favorite subjects were speech, typing, and French.
