| | LINDA BELL was secretary and captain of her homeroom 222. Lin was on the honor roll all three years and received an Activity award in the seventh and eighth grades. She was on the Girl's Athletic Council and was a member of the History Club. Civics, gym and math were her favorite subjects. Her hobbies are sewing, skating, swimming, and gymnastics. . LISA BENSON became a member of homeroom 208 in the 7th grade. She was a member of the Student Council, attended intra-mural sports, was on the ECHO staff and hall guides. Lisa was on the honor roll every year and received an Activity letter. Her hob- bies include skiing, and horseback riding. Math., French, and art were her favorite subjects. MARVIN BIRD became a member of homeroom 208 in the 7th grade. Football, basketball, track, and kick- ball are the sports that he partici- pated in and enjoyed. Bird's hobby is hiking, English, math., and conservation were his favorite sub- jects. WILLIAM BODLEY entered Slauson in the 8th grade as a member of homeroom 212. Bill's favorite subject was conservation. He participated in school sports while his hobby is cars. BETTY BONAVIA entered Slauson in the eighth grade and was a member of homeroom 208. ‘''Bet'' was on Etta- Kett and her favorite subject was typing. She enjoys all sports includ- ing swimming. BONNIE BOYCHUCK was a member of homeroom 305. She participated in Etta Kett and in intramural sports. She was on the honor roll and on the honorable mention. Her favorite subjects were art, business orienta- tion and math. Bonnie's interests are swimming, bowling, records, and piano. ROSE BREDERNITZ was in home- room 305. Her hobbies are swim- ming, water skiing, horseback riding and skating. Rose's favorite subjects were art and gym. DEBBIE BOGGESS became a member RICHARD D. BENON JR. entered Slauson in the eighth grade, and became a member of homeroom 222. Dick participated in many activities, including Junior Life Saving, Hall Monitors and played tackle football for the Giants . He received an award for Junior Life Saving. His hobbies are girls and swimming while math, biology, and gym were his favorite subjects. CINDY BIRD was a member of home- room 208. She participated in Etta Kett, all homeroom sports, volley ball and ice skating. Her grades were good throughout her three years at Slauson. BRAD BOBLITT was the 9th grade president of homeroom 222. Brad enjoyed all sports while his favorite subjects were gym and biology. During his three years at Slauson Brad was on the honor roll most of the time. of homeroom 229 in the 7th grade and served as president. Debbie also was a member of the Drama Club, Student Council, and hall guides. She received an Activity letter and was on the honor roll several times. Debbie's hobbies are drama and water skiing, while speech was her favorite subject. JACQUELYN BOOKER was a member of homerooms 131 and 208. She ser- ved on Hall Guides, History Club, and participated in homeroom sports. Jackie was on the honorable mention while her favorite subjects were home economics and gym. She enjoys sew- ing, sports, and reading mystery books. JERRY BRAUN was a member of homeroom 305. He participated in basketball and hockey. His favorite subjects were math, study hall, and gym. JANIE BROWN served as homeroom captain of 315. She participated in Echo, History Club, and the Student Council. Her favorite subjects were ‘world geography and French. Janie's interests are music, skating, and photography. She was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson.

Dogs, kids and art are her interests. GARY ARBOGAST entered Slauson in the eighth grade. He was vice- president of homeroom 131 and par- ticipated in tackle football. Gary was on the honor roll. His favorite sub- ject was biology while his interests are sports. CHARLENE AYOTTE became a mem- ber of homeroom 305 upon entering Slauson, ''Char's favorite subjects were typing and math. She collects records and keeps a ''Beatles scrapbook, FRANCES BANKS entered Slauson in the 9th grade and was a member of homeroom 222. Fran's favorite sub- jects were math and home economics. She is a member of the Community Center and enjoys sewing and typing. KATHI BARTH became a member of homeroom 229 in the seventh grade. Her interests are horseback-riding and parties. TERRY BASOM was a member of homeroom 212. He participated in tackle football and after school sports. His favorite subjects were math, gym and speech. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and electric and gas powered cars. BARB BEACH entered Slauson in the 7th Grade, and became a member of homeroom 131. Her favorite subject was geography. Skating, reading, dancing and collecting records are her favorite hobbies. JANICE APOSTOLOU was treasurer of homeroom 212. She served on Exodus, Echo and the Journalism Club. She was a Hall Guide alternate and was on the honor roll. Jour- nalism, art, Exodus, Echo, civics, English and French were her favorite subjects. Her interests include danc- ing, collecting English singing groups' albums, writing and the Beach Boys. LINDA ARBOGAST was a member of homeroom 229. BILL BARTH, upon entering Slauson in the seventh grade, joined the foot- ball team. He is a member of the Slot Racing Club while his interests include small gasoline engines and slot racing. Biology and shop were his favorite subjects. DENNIS BARTLETT served as an officer of homeroom 131. He was a member of the History Club and the Projection Club. He was a member of Hall Guides and was on the Talent assembly stage crew and participated in Junior Life Saving and tackle football. Coin collecting, band and sports are his hobbies while civics, physical education and band were his favorite subjects. He also was awarded an activity letter. BRENDA BAUER was a member of homeroom 131. She was on Hall Guides, Hall Moniters, Girls' Ath- letics and Co-ed volleyball. During her three years at Slauson she was on the honor roll and honorable men- tion. Her favorite subjects were home economics and civics. WAYNE BECKER became a member of homeroom 323 in the 8th grade. He participated in many sports, in- cluding tackle football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and swimming. Wayne's hobbies are coin collecting and drawing. Math, art and gym were his favorite subjects.

JOHN BULLARD entered Slauson as a member of homeroom 315. He played intramural sports, tackle foot- ball, and was on the Student Council. John was on the honor roll most of the time at Slauson. His favorite subjects were gym, mechanical draw- ing, and biology. He enjoys bowling, pool, and working with scale models. MIKE CAREY was a member of homeroom 322. He was active in Boys' Athletics and school sports. Charlie was also a member of the Student Council. His favorite sub- jects were civics, conservation and gym. His interests are water ski- ing, swimming, hunting, and base- ball. DARWIN CARR entered Slauson in the 9th grade and became a member of homeroom 315. Metal shop and wood shop were his favorite subjects while baseball and model cars are his hobbies. RANDY CHARBENEAU was president of homeroom 323. He served on the Student Council and participated in Boys' Athletics. Randy's favorite subjects were gym, Spanish and biology while his interests are sports. He was on the honor roll. JOEL COHEN was a member of homeroom 323. He was in the stamp club, Student Council, junior life saving, junior theatre, basketball and the Boy Scouts. H e likes stamp collecting, swimming, acting and camping while his favorite subjects were math and biology. Joel was on the honor roll. JUDY COULTER was a member of homeroom 208. She served on the Magazine Club while her favorite subjects were English and gym. Judie's'' hobbies are collecting china, stuffed animals and horse- back riding. JOHN CRISPIN was the president of homeroom 305. He was vice-presi- dent of the Student Council and a member of the Student Court. He won athletic and activity letters and was on the honor roll all three years. John likes swimming, coin collecting and reading while math, gym and Latin were his favorite subjects. DONNA BUTZIN was a member of homeroom 131, She participated in the History Club, and school gym- nastics. Her favorite subjects were algebra, and gym. Don's interests are art, writing, skating, other sports, the ''Beach Boys , and boys. JOHN CARLTON became a member of homeroom 229 in the 9th grade. His hobbies are wild life, hunting, and fishing. John's favorite subject was English. CAROLYN JEAN CASTO entered Slau- son in the ninth grade and served as a member of homeroom 222. Carol enjoys swimming and ice skating while her favorite subjects were math and chorus. JOYCE COFFEY was a member of homeroom 222. She was a Library Aid, and a hall monitor. Joy's favorite subjects were art, and business orientation. She enjoys water skiing and iceskating. JEAN COOPER entered Slauson in the seventh grade and was a member of homeroom 208. NANCY CRAIK served as secretary of homeroom 305. She participated in Hall Guides, after-school sports, and was secretary of Student Coun- cil. Her hobbies are collecting stamps and coins, swimming, ice- skating, and science clubs. She was on the honor roll throughout Slauson and enjoyed math and science. BRUCE CROUCH was president and treasure of homeroom 319. He par- ticed in the Slauson swimming team, junior lifesaving, and hall guides. He has also won some state awards for swimming. Bruce's interests are swimming, reading and art. His favorite subjects were algebra and speech.
