''Nan's favorite subjects were art and music. Dogs, kids and art are her interests. GARY _ARBOGAST entered Slauson in the eighth grade. He was vice- president of homeroom 131 and par- ticipated in tackle football. Gary was on the honor roll. His favorite sub- ject was biology while his interests are sports. CHARLENE AYOTTE became a mem- ber of homeroom 305 upon entering Slauson, ''Char's favorite subjects were typing and math. She collects records and keeps a ''Beatles scrapbook, FRANCES BANKS entered Slauson in the 9th grade and was a member of homeroom 222. Fran's favorite sub- jects were math and home economics. She is a member of the Community Center and enjoys sewing and typing. KATHI BARTH became a member of homeroom 229 in the seventh grade. Her interests are horseback-riding and parties. TERRY _BASOM was a member of homeroom 212. He participated in tackle football and after school sports. His favorite subjects were math, gym and speech. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and electric and gas powered cars. BARB BEACH entered Slauson in the 7th Grade, and became a member of homeroom 131. Her favorite subject was geography. Skating, reading, dancing and collecting records are her favorite hobbies. JANICE APOSTOLOU was treasurer of homeroom 212. She served on Exodus, Echo and the Journalism Club. She was a Hall Guide alternate and was on the honor roll. Jour- nalism, art, Exodus, Echo, civics, English and French were her favorite subjects. Her interests include danc- ing, collecting English singing groups' albums, writing and the Beach Boys. LINDA _ARBOGAST was a member of homeroom 229. She entered Slauson in the eighth grade, becoming a mem- ber of the Echo staff. She partici- pated in after school sports, was on the honor roll both years at Slauson; typing was her favorite subject. Her hobbies are swimming, collecting records, dancing and water sking. JOHN BABYCZ entered Slauson in the seventh grade. He was a member of homeroom 208. His hobbies are cars, water skiing and girls. BILL BARTH, upon entering Slauson in the seventh grade, joined the foot- ball team. He is a member of the Slot Racing Club while his interests include small gasoline engines and slot racing. Biology and shop were his favorite subjects. DENNIS BARTLETT served as an officer of homeroom 131. He was a member of the History Club and the Projection Club. He was a member of Hall Guides and was on the Talent assembly stage crew and participated in Junior Life Saving and tackle football. Coin collecting, band and sports are his hobbies while civics, physical education and band were his favorite subjects. He also was awarded an activity letter. BRENDA BAUER was a member of homeroom 131. She was on Hall Guides, Hall Moniters, Girls' Ath- letics and Co-ed volleyball. During her three years at Slauson she was on the honor roll and honorable men- tion. Her favorite subjects were home economics and civics. WAYNE BECKER became a member of homeroom 323 in the 8th grade. He participated in many sports, in- cluding tackle football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and swimming. Wayne's hobbies are coin collecting and drawing. Math, art and gym were his favorite subjects. | | LINDA BELL was secretary and captain of her homeroom 222. Lin was on the honor roll all three years and received an Activity award in the seventh and eighth grades. She was on the Girl's Athletic Council and was a member of the History Club. Civics, gym and math were her favorite subjects. Her hobbies are sewing, skating, swimming, and gymnastics. . LISA BENSON became a member of homeroom 208 in the 7th grade. She was a member of the Student Council, attended intra-mural sports, was on the ECHO staff and hall guides. Lisa was on the honor roll every year and received an Activity letter. Her hob- bies include skiing, and horseback riding. Math., French, and art were her favorite subjects. MARVIN BIRD became a member of homeroom 208 in the 7th grade. Football, basketball, track, and kick- ball are the sports that he partici- pated in and enjoyed. Bird's hobby is hiking, English, math., and conservation were his favorite sub- jects. WILLIAM BODLEY entered Slauson in the 8th grade as a member of homeroom 212. Bill's favorite subject was conservation. He participated in school sports while his hobby is cars. BETTY BONAVIA entered Slauson in the eighth grade and was a member of homeroom 208. ‘''Bet'' was on Etta- Kett and her favorite subject was typing. She enjoys all sports includ- ing swimming. BONNIE BOYCHUCK was a member of homeroom 305. She participated in Etta Kett and in intramural sports. She was on the honor roll and on the honorable mention. Her favorite subjects were art, business orienta- tion and math. Bonnie's interests are swimming, bowling, records, and piano. ROSE BREDERNITZ was in home- room 305. Her hobbies are swim- ming, water skiing, horseback riding and skating. Rose's favorite subjects were art and gym. DEBBIE BOGGESS became a member RICHARD D. BENON JR. entered Slauson in the eighth grade, and became a member of homeroom 222. Dick participated in many activities, including Junior Life Saving, Hall Monitors and played tackle football for the Giants . He received an award for Junior Life Saving. His hobbies are girls and swimming while math, biology, and gym were his favorite subjects. CINDY BIRD was a member of home- room 208. She participated in Etta Kett, all homeroom sports, volley ball and ice skating. Her grades were good throughout her three years at Slauson. BRAD BOBLITT was the 9th grade president of homeroom 222. Brad enjoyed all sports while his favorite subjects were gym and biology. During his three years at Slauson Brad was on the honor roll most of the time. of homeroom 229 in the 7th grade and served as president. Debbie also was a member of the Drama Club, Student Council, and hall guides. She received an Activity letter and was on the honor roll several times. Debbie's hobbies are drama and water skiing, while speech was her favorite subject. JACQUELYN BOOKER was a member of homerooms 131 and 208. She ser- ved on Hall Guides, History Club, and participated in homeroom sports. Jackie was on the honorable mention while her favorite subjects were home economics and gym. She enjoys sew- ing, sports, and reading mystery books. JERRY BRAUN was a member of homeroom 305. He participated in basketball and hockey. His favorite subjects were math, study hall, and gym. JANIE BROWN served as homeroom captain of 315. She participated in Echo, History Club, and the Student Council. Her favorite subjects were ‘world geography and French. Janie's interests are music, skating, and photography. She was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson. JOHN BULLARD entered Slauson as a member of homeroom 315. He played intramural sports, tackle foot- ball, and was on the Student Council. John was on the honor roll most of the time at Slauson. His favorite subjects were gym, mechanical draw- ing, and biology. He enjoys bowling, pool, and working with scale models. MIKE CAREY was a member of homeroom 322. He was active in Boys' Athletics and school sports. Charlie was also a member of the Student Council. His favorite sub- jects were civics, conservation and gym. His interests are water ski- ing, swimming, hunting, and base- ball. DARWIN _ CARR entered Slauson in the 9th grade and became a member of homeroom 315. Metal shop and wood shop were his favorite subjects while baseball and model cars are his hobbies. RANDY _CHARBENEAU was president of homeroom 323. He served on the Student Council and participated in Boys' Athletics. Randy's favorite subjects were gym, Spanish and biology while his interests are sports. He was on the honor roll. JOEL COHEN was a member of homeroom 323. He was in the stamp club, Student Council, junior life saving, junior theatre, basketball and the Boy Scouts. H e likes stamp collecting, swimming, acting and camping while his favorite subjects were math and biology. Joel was on the honor roll. JUDY COULTER was a member of homeroom 208. She served on the Magazine Club while her favorite subjects were English and gym. Judie's'' hobbies are collecting china, stuffed animals and horse- back riding. JOHN CRISPIN was the president of homeroom 305. He was vice-presi- dent of the Student Council and a member of the Student Court. He won athletic and activity letters and was on the honor roll all three years. John likes swimming, coin collecting and reading while math, gym and Latin were his favorite subjects. DONNA BUTZIN was a member of homeroom 131, She participated in the History Club, and school gym- nastics. Her favorite subjects were algebra, and gym. Don's interests are art, writing, skating, other sports, the ''Beach Boys , and boys. JOHN CARLTON became a member of homeroom 229 in the 9th grade. His hobbies are wild life, hunting, and fishing. John's favorite subject was English. CAROLYN JEAN CASTO entered Slau- son in the ninth grade and served as a member of homeroom 222. Carol enjoys swimming and ice skating while her favorite subjects were math and chorus. JOYCE COFFEY was a member of homeroom 222. She was a Library Aid, and a hall monitor. Joy's favorite subjects were art, and business orientation. She enjoys water skiing and iceskating. JEAN COOPER entered Slauson in the seventh grade and was a member of homeroom 208. NANCY _CRAIK served as secretary of homeroom 305. She participated in Hall Guides, after-school sports, and was secretary of Student Coun- cil. Her hobbies are collecting stamps and coins, swimming, ice- skating, and science clubs. She was on the honor roll throughout Slauson and enjoyed math and science. BRUCE CROUCH was president and treasure of homeroom 319. He par- ticed in the Slauson swimming team, junior lifesaving, and hall guides. He has also won some state awards for swimming. Bruce's interests are swimming, reading and art. His favorite subjects were algebra and speech. MIKE DALE was a member of home- room 315 and participated in hall guides. He has taken judo lessons at the 'Y . Birds, model airplanes and skiing are his hobbies while math and biology were his favorite subjects. Mike has also ‘been on the honorable mention. LYNN DAVIS was a member of home- room 323. She participated in the History Club, after school activities, Junior Life Saving, major and minor sports and was on the honor roll. Lynn's hobbies include swimming, diving, water skiing, after school sports and collecting records. Her favorite subjects were civics, ge- ography and math. WILLIE DAVIS entered Slauson in the 9th grade and was a member of home- room 315. He was also a member of the Ann Arbor Community Center. Willie enjoys all sports, especially football, baseball and hockey. His hobbies include eating and hunting. His favorite subjects were physical education, lunch and math. BOB DENNIS served as treasurer of his homeroom 322. ''Dennis the Menace enjoyed sports, mini bikes, and girls. His favorite subjects were math, gym, and conservation. He participated in EXODUS and ECHO. TRUDY DIETERLE was a member of homeroom 229. She was in Etta Kett, hall guides, hall monitors, History Club and participated in intramural sports. Trudy's hobbies are sports, collecting records and dancing. Her favorite subjects were typing, chorus and math. LARRY DIUBLE was a member of homeroom 323. Larry's hobbies are swimming, eating, shooting guns and all other sports. His favorite sub- jects were typing, English and gym. JENNIFER DODGE entered Slauson in 7th grade, and was a member of homeroom 319. She was secretary of her homeroom, and served on Etta- Kett and Hall Guides. She was also a Student Council representative. Jeffiner's favorite subjects were French, history and study hall. JEAN DIXON was a member of home- DIANE DANCER a member of home- room 229 participated in all after school sports and was homeroom captain in the 7th grade. Her fa- vorite subjects were math, chorus and typing. Swiming and tennis are 'Dee Dee's'' favorite hobbies. She was a member of the EXODUS staff, History Club, Etta-kett, Jr. Life Saving, and was on the Echo staff. WENDELL DAVIS became a member of homeroom 208 when he entered Slauson the second semester of 7th grade. He was a member of Concert Band. ''Poncho's interest is sports. JOE DEFORS was a member of home- room 229 during his three years at Slauson. He was an assistant coach in gym, vice-president of his home- room and served on the Party Com- mittee. He was also a member of the Outlaws , and was on the honor roll. Joe's hobbies are girl's, scuba diving, guitar and models. His fa- vorite subjects were mechanical draw- ing, gym and lunch. DAVE DESSECKER entered Slauson in the 8th grade and was a member of | homeroom 212. Dave enjoys tackle football, golf, baseball, basketball, bowling, and collecting coins. His favorite subjects were gym and civics. KEN DILL was a member of home- room 315. He was also a hall guide and a boy scout. Ken enjoys skin diving, swimming, football and short- wave radios. Her favorite subjects were civics and English; she also was a member of the chorus. - Betty enjoys volleyball, baseball and skiing. JAN _EHNIS entered Slauson in 7th grade, and was a member of home- room 222. Her favorite subjects were Concert Orchestra, math, Latin, and gym. She was also a member of the Stamp Club for two years. BILL _EHRLINGER entered Slauson in 7th grade, and was a member of homeroom 319. ' Ehrl's favorite subjects were gym and study hall, while his hobbies are cars and hockey. SHARYL_ ELZAY was a member of homeroom 222. She served as a homeroom captain and was vice-presi- dent of the Girls' Athletic Council. She participated in Gymnastics Club, Synchronized Swimming, Officials Club, Exodus and all major and minor sports. Sharyl was on the honor roll and received three athletic letters. Algebra, gym, and art were her favorite subjects while her inter- ests are swimming, tumbling, read- ing, and playing the piano. ELIZABETH FAIRCLOTH entered Slauson in 9th grade, and was a member of homeroom 323. Betty enjoys reading, sewing, and ice skating. She participated in intra- mural volleyball. Her favorite sub- Jects were Spanish, math and civics. ARTHUR FOLEY entered Slauson in the 8th grade and became secretary of homeroom 212. His hobbies are magic, diving, swimming and tennis. Art served on Student Council and played in after-school sports. His favorite subjects were gym, math and typing. GEORGE FOOR entered Slauson in 7th grade and was a member of home— room 208. George enjoys all types of sports. ERIKA FOX served as President of homeroom 131. She was on Student Court and served as president of Student Council. ''Ricki'’ was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson and was on the all A honor roll a number of times. She enjoys dancing, playing records, ballet, boys, and many sports. Math, French, and gym were her favorite subjects. STEVE EHNIS was a member of homeroom 131, after entering Slauson in 7th grade. His interests are coin collecting and hockey, while his favor- ite subjects were math and gym. SUZIE ELLIOT was a member of homeroom 323, while her three years at Slauson. JULIE ESCHELBACH was a member of homeroom 229. She participated in Girls' Athletics, Etta-Kett, Hall Mon- itors, homeroom captain and after school sports. Julie was on the honor roll and received three Athletic letters. Her favorite subjects were art, gym and cooking. Her interests are skiing, dancing, horsebackriding and sewing. LYNN FLICK was a member of home- room 222, of which she was vice- president for two years. She par- ticipated in coed volleyball, and was a Hall Guide and Monitor. Lynn was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson and was a representative of Coed magazine. Her favorite subjects were algebra and study hall. BRUCE FOLSKE was a member of homeroom 315. He belonged to Hall Monitors, Concert Band, the Ann Arbor Hockey League, and Little League Baseball. Bruce's hobbies include all types of sports. His favorite subjects were shop, gym and civics. WILLIAM_A, FOSTER became a member of homeroom 212 when he entered Slauson in eighth grade. He belonged to the Sea Explorers. Basketball and football are Bill's interests. His favorite subjects were math and science. RONALD FOX was a member of homeroom 229. He participated in tackle football and a slot car racing club. Martha's in- terests are horses and swimming. Her favorite subjects were gym and typing. ANN GOLD entered Slauson in 1964 and became a member of homeroom 322. She was a hall guide and served on Etta-Kett. Ann's hobbies are read- ing classics, art, and playing the piano. Her favorite subjects were art and Latin. DIANE GILLIAND was a member of homeroom 208 and entered Slauson in the 7th grade. ''Cookie'' enjoys boys, dancing, movies and swimming. Her favorite subjects were math, home economics, and gym. PENNY FREY was a member of homeroom 222 in the seventh and eighth grade and 229 in the ninth grade, There she served as treas- urer, homeroom captain, and repre- sentative to Girls' Athletics. She belonged to Hall Guides and Monitors, the Gymnastics Club, Jr. Lifesaving, and participated in all sports. Penny received two athletic letters. Ath- letics, ‘'Tarzan'', and joining clubs are her interests. RICHARD GANZHORN was a member of homeroom 323. He participated in Concert Band. Richard was often been on the honor roll. Fishing, football, and other sports are his in- terests. His favorite subjects were Concert Band and French. STEVE GATES served as president of homeroom 131. He was a member of Hall Guides, Boys' Athletics and participated in tackle football. ''Reno ’ enjoys water-sking, football and hockey. Gym and civics were his favorite subjects. JOAN GEDDES was a member of homeroom 322. Joan was in the 4-H club, also participated in orchestra, and the solo and ensemble festival. She came to all after-school sports. Joni was on the honor roll each year at Slauson. She enjoys folk music, animals, and playing the violin. Her favorite subjects were geography and orchestra. LEON GILBEE was a member of homeroom 131. His hobby is swim- ming. His favorite subjects while at Slauson were English and chorus. SUSAN GOULD was a member of homeroom 131.: While at Slauson, she served on Hall Guides, Etta-Kett, and was a member of the 8th grade History Club. She was on the honor roll all three years at Slauson. Sue's hobbies are sewing, playing the guitar, and listening to records made by British groups. Her favorite sub- jects were speech, civics, and home economics. CATHY GINGLES entered Slauson in the seventh grade and became a mem- ber of homeroom 319. Cathy par- ticipated in Student Council and Life- saving. She enjoys watersking, dancing, and goofing around. Speech, civics and algebra were her favorite subjects. BRUCE GRAY was a member of homeroom 131, He played tackle football in the seventh grade. His hobbies are hockey and coin collect- ing. Algebra and gym were his favorite subjects. SANDY _HAIBEL entered Slauson in the seventh grade and was a member of homeroom 319. MARY_ANN HALL was captain of homeroom 208. ''Pepper' served on the History Club, Girls' Athletics and the Central Homeroom committee. She participated in all major and minor sports. Her hobbies are sports and vacationing, while her favorite subjects were Latin, history and unified studies. LARRY HARBISON became a member of homeroom 131, when he entered Slauson in the 7th grade. He was secretary of his homeroom and ser- ved on the Stamp Club and Projection Club; he also participated in tackle football. Larry acted in the Ann Arbor Civic Theater production of Gypsy''. His hobbies are stamps, sports, and water skiing, while gym, Latin, band and geography were his favorite subjects. PENNY HARRIS was a member of homeroom 131. ''Pen'' served on 8th grade History Club and Etta Kett. She collects records, swims, likes boys and the Beach Boys . Sewing and art were her favorite subjects. SUE HELFRICH was a member of homeroom 315. She participated in Hall Guides, the Exodus staff, Etta- Kett, the Echo staff, and the Journal- ism Club. ''Putts' was on the honor roll in the seventh grade and enjoyed art, typing, and journalism. Her hobbies are water skiing, parties, dancing, collecting records, and Har- ley Rider, SHARON HENRY was Etta Kett, Hall Monitors, and Girls' Athletics repre- sentative of homeroom 212. She was interested in music while her favorite subjects were band and chorus. MIKE GRAY was a member of home- room 322 during his three years at Slauson. He is interested in all types of animals. His favorite subject while at Slauson was civics. JOYCE HALL was a member of homeroom 315. Ann belonged to the Supreme Club. She enjoys singing. CHRIS HANSEN was a member of homeroom 322, where she served as president. She was also on Hall Monitors, Student Council, Etta Kett and Echo. Chris was on the Honor Roll all three years.
