LINDA HAYNES was in homeroom 309 for all her three years at Slauson. Linda was in Junior Life Saving and was a homeroom team captain. She was on the honor roll all three years. Her favorite subjects were French and typing, while she enjoys playing the piano and sports. ALAN HEWETT was a member of homeroom 317. While at Slauson Alan was on the honor roll all three years except one marking period. He enjoys boating and reading, while his favorite subjects were biology, algebra, and gym. MICHAEL HILLA was a secretary of home- room 321 in seventh and eighth grade. He participated in History Club, Junior Life- saving, tackle football, all after-school sports and the YMCA swimming team. He was on the honor roll in the seventh and in the eighth grade. In eighth grade he also got an athletic letter. Biology, gym and journalism were his favorite subjects. CATHY HIRTH was Girls' Athletics repre- sentative of homeroom 225. Cathy partici- pated in Walteer League at church, the History Club, and the 8th grade chorus. Skating, dancing and playing tennis are her hobbies. DENNY HUBBARD was a member of home- room 205. His interests are swimming, playing hockey, baseball and hunting. Denny received honorable mentions all three years. Math and gym were his favorite subjects. JANET HUME was an Etta Kett representa- tive, Girls' Athletics representative, and homeroom captain of 225. Jan was a Hall Monitor. She participated in 8th and 9th grade History Club and syncronized swim- ming. Typing was her favorite subject and she enjoys skating, swimming, and playing tennis. CEDRIC HUNTER was a member of room 233. EARLE JACKSON was a member of home- room 220, ' 'Oyl's favorite subjects were math, English, concert band and orchestra, while his interests include electronics and coin collecting. RON HATTO was president and vice-presi- dent of homeroom 321. He was captain of his homeroom basketball in the 8th grade and on the All-Star basketball team in both the eighth and ninth grades. His hobbies are sports and girls. Algebra, gym, and journalism were his favorite subjects. PETER HEDLESKY was a member of home- room 309. ''Pee-Wee participated on the Echo, Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, and eighth grade chorus. His favorite subjects were journalism, speech and algebra. His hobbies are reading, school, and girls. Pete was on the honorable mention. JUDIETH HICKENBOTTOM came to Slauson in the ninth grade and became a member of homeroom 224. Judy was a member of the Elks Club drill team, DAC committee, Hall Monitors, Stevie Wonder's Fan Club and was Purity Class Secretary. English was her favorite subject while her interests are roller skating, boys, collecting records and learn- ing new dances. RALPH HINTERMAN was a member of home- room 309. His favorite subjects were biology and civics. Ralph was on the honor roll every semester. MARK HOSENY was a member of homeroom 225. ''Hose enjoys cars. SUZANNE HUIZENGA was a member of home- room 224, Sue is a girl scout and was on honorable mention and the honor roll. Her hobbies are boys, shows, talking, and knit- ting, while her favorite subjects were math, gym, and civics. MARSHA HYDE was secretary and girls' captain of homeroom 205. Marsha was a member of Etta Kett, Student Council, Junior Lifesaving, Synchronized Swimming, Echo staff, History Club, and received an activity letter in the eighth grade. Social Studies, journalism, and English were her favorite subjects while her interests are swimming, interior design and art. ERVIN JACKSON was a member of home- | room 216 and was on B.S.A. band, and Boy Scouts. MARY GILSON was president of homeroom 225. She was also the president of Etta Kett and a homeroom captain. Duck par- ticipated in Junior Life Saving, syncronized swimming, Student Council, Hall Guides, and was in the Talent Show. Mary receiv ed an activity letter and was on the honor roll and honorable mention all three years at Slauson. Civics and typing were Mary's favorite sub- jects while swimming, skiing, horseback rid- ing and dancing are her hobbies. PAUL GODEK was hall guide for homeroom 225. Shop, gym, and civics were his favorite subjects while his interests are cars, sports, and outdoor activities. RICHARD GREENWOOD was a member of homeroom 318. He was a Hall Monitor in the ninth grade, went out for all intermural. sports, except gymnastics, and was captain of his gym team. Richard's hobbies are records and all sports while Latin, English, and gym were his favorite subjects. ALAN HAINEN was a member of homeroom 317, Al's interests are in photography and he likes to cook. His favorite subjects were math, Exodus, business orientation, civics, and lunch. Al was a member of the projec- tion club, stage crew, noon hour, and Boy Scout Troop number 5. LINDA HAMMON was a member of home- room 225. She participated in History Club, Slauson Echo staff, Student Council, Hall Guides, syncronized swimming, and was a homeroom captain. Linda was also on the honor roll. Her hobbies are sewing, and flirting with boys while her favorite subjects were journalism and civics. GARY HANN was a member of homeroom 317. He was a member of History Club, Astronomy Club, Stamp Club, Hall Guides, and Saturday Science and Seminar Club. He won a lst division rating at the Solo and Ensemble Festival. His interests include, science, cornet playing and all sports while his favorite subjects were biology, French, math and Concert Band. KRISTEEN HANSELMAN was treasurer of homeroom 321. Kris participated in Etta Kett, Hall Guides, president of Girls' Athletics, secretary of the Girls' Council, Echo, History Club, syncronized swimming, Exodus, and ninth grade discussion group. As manager of different sports, Kris went to all homeroom games. Her favorite subjects were civics and journalism while also enjoy- ing sports and water-skiing. While at Slauson Kris was on the honor roll and received athletic and activity letters. JOHN HARRISON JR. came to Slauson in the ninth grade as a member of homeroom 223 and was a hall guide. His hobbies are electronics, sports, and girls. John's favor- ite subjects were gym, civics, and English, SALLY GLAS was president, homeroom cap- tain, hall guide, Student Council Representa- tive, and president of Girls' Athletics for homeroom 223. While at Slauson SA was a member of syncronized swimming, cheer- leading, lifesaving, History Club, Echo, and 8th grade chorus. Sally also received two athletic letters, and one activity letter, and has been on the all A honor roll all three years at Slauson. Her interests are watching television, records, movies, sports, dancing, and art. While at Slauson her favorite sub- jects were speech and sewing. ROBERTA GRAVES was a member of home- room 317. ''Robin' participated in Etta Kett, 8th grade chorus, Hall Monitors, after school sports, and History Club. She was on the honor roll and honorable mention at Slauson. Skiing, bowling, skating, and listening to Beatle records are her hobbies while algebra and typing were her favorite subjects. GARY GROESBECK was a member of home- room 318. He was a member of Slauson's and the Ann Arbor swimming team, Hall Guides and participated in tackle football. He was on the B honor roll. Gary's interests include swimming, tackle football, and col- lecting stamps and coins while his favorite subjects were gym, study hall, and home- room. ALAN HALL was president and vicé-presi- dent of homeroom 321. He was co-captain of his football team, The Mustangs . He participated in all after school sports he was captain of a touch football team. Allies hobbies are sports and girls and he received two athletic letters. His favorite subjects were gym, shop, and math. DAVE HANN was a member of homeroom 318. He participated in all sports and his hobbies are golf, baseball, and football. He served on the History Club, Hall Guides, and the Ninth Grade Discussion Group. Dave's favorite subjects were Latin and Journalism. Dave was on the honor roll all of his three years at Slauson. SUSAN HANNAH was a member of homeroom 309, and participated in the 8th grade choir. Sue's hobbies are reading, and listening to records while her favorite subjects were home economics and typing. NANCY HARLACHER was a member of homeroom 205. She participated in Etta Kett club, Girls' Athletics, Exodus staff, Student Council, cheerleading in the seventh grade, school hockey champs in the eighth grade, all major and minor sports, and won a track award in the seventh grade. Nancy's hobbies are records, ''Beatles,'' boys, and Eddy's parties. Her favorite subjects were civics, algebra, and gym. TOM HART entered Slauson in 1962 and be— came a member of homeroom 205. He was a hall monitor while his hobbies are radios and T.V.'s. Tom's favorite subjects were woodshop, gym, and math.

eae. aes WILLIAM JACOBSON was president of home- room 318. Jake participated in the History Club, the Echo staff, County Government Day, various athletic activities, and was in the 8th grade chorus. He had all A's twice, re- ceived an athletic letter and made 5 swimming records. Reading and swimming are his hobbies. PAT JANES was a member of homeroom 225. During her years at Slauson, Patties hobbies were dancing, camping, and horse- back riding. The subjects she enjoyed most were math and English. DIANE JEDELE was a member of homeroom 309. She participated in Syncronized Swim- ming Club, Junior Lifesaving, Etta Kett, History Club, and Hall Guides. Diane was on the honor roll all three years. Her hobbies are playing the flute and her favorite subjects were French, typing and band. DAVID JOHNSMILLER served as president, vice president, and treasurer of homeroom 225. His favorite subjects were math and civi cs, while his interests are collecting coins, sports, and drawing. Dave was on the honor roll an honorable mention in the 7th and 8th grade. TIM JOHNSON was a member of homeroom 220 while at Slauson. Timmy's hobbies are girls, basketball, football, and baseball. His favorite subjects were algebra and Eng- lish. Tim won a trophy in the seventh grade for being the most valuable player of the year and has been on the All-Star Bas- ketball team in the eighth and ninth grade. JIMMY JONES entered Slauson in the 8th grade and became a member of homeroom 224, His activities were football and soft- ball, Cool PaPa's Hobbies are girls, and dancing. Typing, gym, English, and metal shop were his favorite subjects. MARY ELLEN KAST served as treasurer of homeroom 317. She served on Hall Guides, Student Council, Girls' Athletics, and Efta Kett, was on the honor roll all 3 years and earned an activity letter. Math and science were her favorite subjects and her hobbies are bowling, sports, reading, and skating. JAY KINCAID was a member of homeroom 321 and participated in tackle football. Jay's favorite subject was civics and his hob- bies are motorcycles, cars, and engines. ROY JAMRON was a member of homeroom 224. He participated in the Saturday Science Club and was on the honor roll and the all A honor roll. His hobbies are art, science, constructing and tinkering with various things. Biology, French, and math were his favorite subjects. TIM JANSSEN was a member of homeroom 309 all three years while Slauson. Tim's hobbies are bowling and hockey. His favorite subjects were math, gym, and civics. Tim participated in all of his homeroom sports, Junior Lifesaving and was also a hall guide. ROB JENKS was a member of homeroom 309. He was a member of the Stamp Club, and Saturday Science. His ho bbies are astromony, stamp collecting, girls, and records. ' Junks' favorite subjects were biology, architectural design, and typing. ARLENE JOHNSON was a member of home- room 309 during her three years at Slauson. Her favorite subjects were math and English, while her hobbies are collecting records and dancing. DON JOHNSTON was in homeroom 205. He was a member of Projection Club, Hall Moni- tors, and Student Council. He participated in most sports. He likes wrestling and base- ball, while his favorite subjects were civics, band, and studyhall. KEN KALMBACH was a member of home- room 225. He served on Hall Guides and Boys' Athletics. Ken's favorite subjects were math and gym. His hobbies are photography and model cars. ALLENE KENNEDY entered Slauson in the ninth grade as a member of homeroom 321. Wanda's hobbies include roller skating, dancing, drawing, football, and parties. Gym, foods, civics, and English were her favorite subjects. KARNA KINSEY was a member of homeroom 224 where she served as secretary all of ninth grade. She was on Girls' Athletics, Etta Kett alternate, Student Council alternate, worked in the library in the ninth grade, and participated in all after school sports. Karna's hobbies are swimming while her favorite sub- jects were typing, French and civics. She was on the honor roll most of the time while at Slauson.
