In. Memoriam SUSAN BOZOIAN When you walk in a store and see a little boy in dirty jeans and a messy old sweat shirt, who looked like he might cry if he didn't get a candy bar, would you give him ten cents so he could buy one? Unless you were pretty kind-hearted, we all would probably walk out, but Susie Bozoian didn't, she did give that little boy the dime. If you would ask her why she did such nice things, her usual answer would be to the effect of I want to see them happy. She tried to make everyone happy, in fact she would give something of her own to someone else just to see them happy. When we think of Slauson, we think of school spirit, and that is one thing that Susie didn't lack. When it came time for a game to be played, she had an extra supply of pep and energy, but if the other team would win, you would never see her stamping the field or booing the umpire like an overgrown child. She would be telling the others they played a good game. When in an assembly she would sing the school song with all the love and pep and loyalty to the school that anyone could ask for. She always said things that would make people happy, and when she pie feel up to par she never took it out on others, Be kept it to her- self. With her great personality and winning smile, Susie was a girl we all liked and shall always remember.
