ALFRED MERRET was a member of homeroom 303. Al's favorite subjects were English and gym. Model cars and baseball are his favorite hobbies and interests. PAMELA MEISENHELDER was president, treasurer, and secretary of homeroom 224. She was on the Student Coun- cil, Etta Kett Club, Girls! Athletics, and eighth grade chorus. She was captain of volleyball, and field hockey in the eighth and ninth grade. Pam participated in all major and minor sports. Her hobbies are water skiing, ice skating, swimming, bowling, dancing, and sewing. Eng- lish, home economics, and typing were her favorite sub- jects. MARC MEYER'S homeroom was 227. He especially en- joyed dancing, entertaining, and acting as Disk-Jockey at ocal social affairs. ' “Cashew's favorite subjects were al- gebra and English. MERLE MERRIT was a member of homeroom 207 and 317. Merle's hobbies and interests are building model cars and planes. Metal shop and general shop were his favorite subjects. - JOSE MEZA was a member of homeroom 303. Pepe came to Slauson in the ninth grade. He makes a hobby of collecting stamps, and his favorite subject was math. FRANCISCO MEZA was a member of 303. Pancho's favorite subjects were algebra, English, and architecture and design. KENN MILLER was a member of homeroom 320. Cave- man was a member of the Gymkhana. He entered Slauson in the 8th grade, and was on the honor roll in the 7th grade. His favorite subject was English, while his hobbies are weight-lifting, and literature. LINDA MILEY was a member of 207. She came to Slauson in the second semester of the ninth grade. Tiny's favorite subjects were civics and art. DOUG MOHL'S homerooms were 207 and 317. His hobbies are sports and building models. Doug was active in junior life saving and intermural wrestling. Math, German, and gym were his favorite subjects. PHILLIP MILLER was a member of homeroom 320. His hobby is building model cars and he is interested in horses. Phil belonged to a 4-H horse club. His favorite subjects were shop and math. LAURA MULHOLLAND was a member of homeroom 303. She was a hall monitor, and participated in all homeroom sports. Laura's favorite subjects were typing, and math while her favorite hobby is swimming. She received an art award in the 7th grade. LYNNE MOYNIHAN was member of homeroom 218. She entered Slauson in the 8th grade and belonged to the Y.M.C.A. and the Sinerates Club. Her hobbies are horseback riding, baseball and swimming. Math, art, and typing were her favorite subjects. 7 IN MARY ANN NIELSON served as Girl's Athletics repre- sentative for homeroom 306. She was a hall monitor and vice president of the Silver Spurs Riding Club . Mary Ann's favorite subjects were civics, English, algebra and LYNN MURRAY was a member of 218. While she was here at Slauson she served in Hall Monitors, Etta Kett Club, Girls' Athletics. Lynn participated in all majors and minor sports. She was on the honor roll twice and her hobby is collecting records. art. JERRY NOVICK was a member of homeroom 218. He likes working with mechanical things. Professor's favorite subjects were the shops. GARY NORTHRUP was a member of homeroom 306. His favorite subject was English and he belongs to the YMCA. Gary's hobbies are hunting, fishing, archery and bike riding.

RON MAIER was a member of homeroom 320. He was on Hall Monitors, Projection Club and the Stage Crew. He also went out for most of his homeroom games. Motorcycles, cars, and electronics are Ron's interests. His favorite sub- jects were mechanical drawing and metal shop. FRANK MARTIN was a member of homeroom 312. His favorite arash were shop and English. His hobbies are motorcycles. go karts an ROBERT McCORMICK was a member of homeroom 218. He participated in the Boys' Athletics Club, Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, all major and minor sports. and the Wushe-Nong Indian dance group. Bob also was president of the Methodist Youth Fellowship Group. His hobbies included music, basketball, track, bowling, and girls. His favorite subjects were Concert Band, physical education, and speech. JACK McGUIRE came to Slauson in 7th grade and be- came a member of homeroom 201. His favorite subjects were gym and shop. His hobbies are cars and small gasoline engines. Noon Hour, and Projection Club. NANCY MARCH was a member of homeroom 201 where she was president and 312 where she was secretary and vice-president. While in Slauson she was on the Student Court, Student Council, Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, Girls' Athletics secretary, cheerleading for three years, and manager of volleyball. She played all major and minor sports. Nancy received activity letters and was on the honor roll all three years at Steuart: Her fa- vorite subjects were English and Latin. JOHN MATHEWS wos a member of homeroom 312. He was a hall monitor first semester. Mack's favorite sub- jects were English and gym while his hobbies are fishing and hunting. SALLY McDONALD was a member of homeroom 201. Sally participated in 9th grade chorus, and was elected by her homeroom as a Girls' Athletics representative. Her hobbies are boys and collecting records. English, typing, and speech were Sally's favorite subjects. Jack's school activities were Exodus, CLYDE McKENZIE, a member of homeroom 227, was president of the Student Council. He participated in all major and minor sports. He was a member of Boys' Athletics, and was president and vice-president of his homeroom. His favorite subjects were algebra and Latin. He was on the honor roll or honorable mention all through Slauson . “SS “e JOHN MAKIN was a member of homeroom 201. He was a member of Exodus staff and for three years he was on Hall Guides. John's favorite subjects were al- gebra and biology. His interests are golf and baseball . subject was typing. MARTHA ELIZABETH MASON was a member of home- rooms 218 and 312, and was the vice-president of home- room 312. She has been on Girls' Athletics and has participated in three clubs at church: A.C.E. League, Junior Choir and Junior Missionary Society. Marty likes to listen to records and to play sports. KAREN OGILVY was a member of homeroom 218. Karen was on the Student Council all her three years at Slauson. She was on the honor roll all except the first semester in seventh grade. Karen won these swim- ming awards: seventh grade-first place, Medly Relay, and eighth grade - first place, 25 yard free style. Her hobbies are ice skating, swimming, and baseball. SANDRA OMERSO was a member of homerooms 207 and 317 in which she served as president, secretary, and treasurer. She also served as president of Girls Athletics and served on Etta Kett Club, and Student Court. Sandi participated in cheerleading, the all school hockey team, was a hall guide, monitor, and was on the Echo staff. Her favorite subjects were science, math, civics, and French. She was on the honor roll and received an ac- tivity letter. JOYCE PALMER served as vice president and treasurer of homeroom 201. She also served on Hall Guides, Hall Monitors and Etta Kett. She also participated in 8th and 9th grade chorus and Junior Life Saving. Joyce's favorite subjects were algebra and chorus while her hobbies are swimming, boating, and bowling. RENEE PAYNE was a member of homeroom 227. While at Slauson she was a Hall Monitor and participated in volleyball, baseball, and field hockey. Renee enjoys sports, likes to collect records and listens to radio in her spare time. Algebra, Spanish. and typing were her favorite subjects. JOHN PETERSON was the vice-president of homeroom 224. He was also a member of the football and basketball teams. Gym and speech were John's favorite subjects; sports and coin collection are his hobbies. JIM PILCHER served as treasurer of homeroom 320. Jim was a hall guide, played tackle football, was a member of the Scuba Club, and was on the rifle team at the Y.M.C.A. Social studies and science were his favorite subjects. DONALD PRATT was a member of homeroom 201. While at at Slauson he was a hall monitor and a member of the 8th and 9th grade choruses. Don's favorite subjects were social studies, gym, and art. MARY ALICE PRIESKORN was treasurer of homeroom 306. While Mary Alice was in Slauson she was manager of Shuffle Board, participated in Girls' Athletics, Student Council, Office Runner, Etta Kett, Hall Guide, Exodus, and and was an Editor on the Echo. Mary Alice formed the Tri-Hi-Y and served as Vice-President twice and Treasurer once. She also played all major and minor sports. She received an activity letter. Her favorite subjects were speech and typing. JIM OLSON wos a member of 312 since he entered Slauson in the 8th grade. Monitors. His favorite subjects were gym, lunch and printing. He likes baseball, weight lifting, hockey, golf, and girls. MARY PAUL was a member of homeroom 218. While at Slauson she served on the library staff, hall monitors, and party committee. sports. Mary's favorite subjects were math and typing and her hobby is ice skating. SCOTT PETERSON for homeroom 306. Scott's interests include key chains, knives, and bowling. TOM PRICE was a member of homeroom 227. Math and art were his favorite subjects; drawing and coin collecting were his hobbies. He was on Boys' Athletics, and Hall GERALDINE OSUGI was a member of both homeroom 317 and 207. Geri was treasurer of her homeroom, was a hall monitor, a hall guide and served on the Echo staff.
