LINDA KEATING came to Slauson in the 7th grade and became a member of homeroom 312. She was in all major sports, 8th and 9th grade cheerleader, reporter for the Ann Arbor News, secretary and vice-president of homeroom Girls' Athletics, and belonged to the Tri-Hi-Y club. In the 8t h grade she was on the honor roll and received an activity letter. Her hobbies are water skiing, skating and boating. Her favorite subjects were Spanish and algebra. BILL HURST was a member of homeroom 227. His favorite subjects were music, art and speech. He also played the part of Mr. Quigley in the first semester speech play. His hobbies are organizing clubs, playing the piano, and collecting stamps. RUTH JOHNSON was a member of homeroom 312. She participated in Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, Etta Kett Club, library aids, 8th grade chorus, after school games and the Echo. Her favorite subjects were French and biology and civics. Her hobby is sewing. RICHARD JONES came to school in 7th grade and became a member of 303. His hobbies are wrestling and track. PRISCILLA JOY was a member of homeroom 320. MARGARET LAMB, a member of homeroom 303, was secretary of her homeroom. She served on the Student Council, Echo staff, was a hall monitor, and was a member of the Twenties. Peggy's favorite subjects were algebra, civics, and Latin. She was on the honor roll all through Slauson, having A''s several times. Her hobbies are playing the piano and reading. BERNIE LA ROWE was a member of homeroom 303, and was on Student Council, and homeroom committee. Bernie also served on Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, and participated in 8th grade chorus and all after school games. Bernie's hobbies include swimming and collecting records. MIKE LECLAIRE was Boys' Athletic representative for homeroom 306. At Slauson his favorite subjects were metal shop and mechanical drawing, and he was a mem- ber of Projection Club. Mike's hobby is model cars. RUSSEL LEFURGE was a member of homeroom 227. He has served on hall monitors and was on the honor roll once and honorable mention twice. Design, printing, and algebra were Rusty's favorite subjects while hot rods and customizing cars are his hobbies. DALE LESLIE was a member of homeroom 227, where he participated in all homeroom sports, especially football. He served as Boys' Athletics alternate for two years. Big Les's favorite subjects were gym and English and he enjoys all sports BRUCE LENIO was president, vice president and Boys' Athletic representative for his homeroom 201. He was on the basketball team and participated in all sports except gymnastics. His favorite subjects were Spanish and band, while sports are his hobbies. Bruce received an Athletic letter. Diane is inter- ested in swimming, sewing, skating, and blind children. BRIAN LOUP was a member of homeroom 312. He participated in Projection Club, all homeroom sports and hall monitors. Brian's favorite subjects were civics, Ger- man, and algebra, while his hobbies are baseball, foot- ball, hockey, model cars, and stamps and coins. DARIA LITTLEJOHN was a member of homeroom 224. She received an art award in the 8th grade. Drawing, stamp collecting, riding, and horses are her hobbies and interests. Her favorite subjects were art, German, and gym. ROBERT SCOTT LOVELACE served as president of home- room 218. He was also on Hall Guides, Student Council, and he went out for all after-school sports. Scott was on the honor roll and helped his homeroom win awards in soccer, swimming, and touch football. Sports and building models are his hobbies while his favorite subjects were al- gebra and gym.
