JIM FREDERICK was a member of homeroom 201. He served as an alternate for Student Council, and was on Hall Monitors. Jim was on the honor roll; his favorite subject was biology. Radio and electronics are his hobbies. CLAUDIA FRANKLIN entered Slauson in the eighth grade and was a member of homerooms 312 and 233. During the summer she was on a drill team and was on the school hockey team. Shorty's favorite subject was gym and her hobbies are dancing, volleyball, and going to parties. aN NIKKI FREY was secretary of homeroom 207, though she was a member of 312 in 7th and 8th grade. Nikki was also on Girls' Athletics, and was a hall monitor. She was on the honor roll in 8th and 9th grade. Nikki's hobbies are swimming and reading; study hall and Eng- lish were her favorite subjects. BILL FRENCH was a member of homeroom 303 and 322. The Chief's favorite subjects were speech while his hobbies are sports and model cars, boats, airplanes, and collecting sport car magazines. : CHRISTINE GATES, who entered Slauson during seventh grade, was in homeroom 201. Chris was a librarian and participated in the club, Rainbow Girls . Her favorite hobbies are animals, bowling, ice skating, and reading. RAY GARDNER who entered Slauson during the seventh grade, was a member of homeroom 303. His favorite subject was arithmetic, while his hobbies are collecting stamps and coins. BOB GIBSON was a member of homeroom 303. He played football for the three years at Slauson. Bob was a member of the projection club. His hobbies are folk music, play- ing a banjo, and philosophy. Speech was his favorite sub- ject. KATHLEEN GERVICK was a member of homeroom 224 and played in all major and minor sports. She was a member of Tri-High-Y, hall monitors, the Echo staff, and was in the eighth grade chorus. While at Slauson she was on honorable mention most of the time. Kathy's favorite subjects were speech and algebra. ELIDA GILES was a member of homeroom 312 and 233. She served as president and vice president of the French Club, on Student Court, Etta Kett, Hall Guides, Hall Monitors, and eighth grade chorus. Elida, who was on the honor roll, enjoyed all of her subjects, especially speech. Her hobbies are playing the piano, making mosaic bowls, painting, golf and bowling. LINDA GILBERT was a member of homeroom 224 where she served as a student council representative and an Etta Kett Club member. Linda's hobbies include horseback riding, skiing and skating. Her favorite subjects were typing and speech. JOHN GOCHIS served as president and Student Council representative for homeroom 320. He was also on Stu- dent Court and participated in most sports. John's fa- vorite subjects were math and gym; his hobbies are all sports. EDDIE GILLESPIE was a member of homeroom 227. He participated in football, basketball, wrestling, baseball, and soccer. His favorite subjects were algebra and gym while his hobbies are fishing and hunting. JOHN GOULD served as Boys' Athletics representative for homeroom 306. Her hobbies are horseback riding and water skiing. DIANNE EDDY was a member of homeroom 233 and 312. She participated on Hall Monitors and Hall Guides. Her hobbies are collecting records, dancing and swimming. KRIS DUQUETTE entered Slauson during the 8th grade as a member of homeroom 201. She served as an alternate for Student Council and Etta Kett Club, was on the party committe, Exodus staff, sang in the eighth grade chorus and was a cheerleader in the ninth grade. Kris's favorite subjects were Speech and Exodus staff. Her hobbies are swimming, listening to records, dancing, and reading. JOHN EIBLER was a member of homeroom 320. While at Slauson he was on the honorable mention list. Jack liked to water ski and swim in his spare time. His favorite subjects were math and English.
