As the setting sun reflects the close of another day, may this annual reflect fond memories of school days spent in Slaton High School. As you come closer to the end of your high school career, may you realize that you have reached a time in life when you must make decisions that will chart the course of your future. Upon these decisions will rest your success. In making these important decisions, take council from those who have helpful information and more experience than you. Approach your problems with an open mind and endeavor to secure facts. When you have made your final choice, be steadfast in your purpose, and I am sure that happiness and success will be yours. May I express my personal appreciation for the cooperation and for the courtesies which you have given me during this school year.
