Mr. Gilbert has only been with Slaton High for a year and a half and al- ready he has made many friend s among the students. When the school, the te am, or the club needs backing you can expect Mr. Gilbert to be there. f x Q . if-vi '- Ray Aylsworth, a student of Slaton High has done in one semester what ordinarily takes a student a year to accomplish. Be- cause of infantile paralysis, Ray was un- able to attend school the first semester of this year, but he came back the second seme s te r with courage and a smile and completed his Junior year along with his classmates.
