MR. JAY P. HAGENBUCH A familiar face at Slatington High School is our assistant principal, Mr. Jay P. Hagenbuch. Mr. Hagenbuch is always seen with a smile as he constantly performs his many duties at Slatington High School. Our assistant principal, a graduate of Bloomsburg Normal School and a recipient of a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Penn State, utilizes his spare time by fishing and by working around his trailer. We, as seniors, owe our thanks and express our appreciation to Mr. Hagenbuch. It was he who prepared us as seventh and eighth graders to face the ever-increasing demands of Slatington High School. Thanks again, Mr. Hagenbuch. 11

MR. GORDON KEMP After only one year as principal, Mr. Kemp has proven to be an efficient and affable director of our pavillion. Mr. Kemp, a graduate of Berwick High School, furthered his education at Bloomsburg State College. He received his Master’s Degree at Lehigh University. His hobbies include bowling, reading and doing handicrafts in wood. We, the Seniors of Slatington High School, are grateful to Mr. Kemp for providing us with invaluable guidance through our most important high school year. 10

Our supervising principal, Mr. Herman Snyder, consults his secretary, Miss Muriel Williams on a matter of school policy. Mrs. Parry, Mrs. Deibert, and Mrs. Dietrich take time out of their busy day to pose for our photographer. 12
