MR. HERMAN P. SNYDER i I Always eager to help, whether in an academic or social way, our supervising principal, Mr. Snyder, guides our class’s destiny. This is not a new experience for Mr. Snyder. For the past 31 years, he has been molding the minds of students — first as a teacher, then as an adminis- trator. We feel that he has given our class something uniquely special. Therefore, it is only fitting that in our yearbook, the culminative effort of our years in high school, that we thank this man who has made those years rewarding and enjoy- able for all of us. 9

MR. GORDON KEMP After only one year as principal, Mr. Kemp has proven to be an efficient and affable director of our pavillion. Mr. Kemp, a graduate of Berwick High School, furthered his education at Bloomsburg State College. He received his Master’s Degree at Lehigh University. His hobbies include bowling, reading and doing handicrafts in wood. We, the Seniors of Slatington High School, are grateful to Mr. Kemp for providing us with invaluable guidance through our most important high school year. 10
