We Dedimfc fd Mrs. l6'c'ruicc J-licks SM WE tl 5 gig Mrs. Hicks is known to all as a language scholar and a world traveler, but to the Class of 1964, she is much more. We, Whom she guided, consider her more than just a com- petent leader. Words alone cannot repay her for her diligence, persever- ance, and concern through our high school days. Since a smiling face and pleasant personality have proven to be the outward manifestations of her understanding na- ture, we can be thankful for being blessed with not only a capable adviser but also a loyal friend. With patience and foresight as her constant companions, she counseled us through our four arduous years in S.H.S. Because a simple thank you lacks the necessary eloquence, our way of attempting to compensate for our deft of grati- tude is dedicating REFLECTIONS 1964 to Mrs. Hicks. 5
