Titans run away with league crown :ff 'fi' ' ' ' r42::7,v' I On a rain soaked fog covered field Skyline routed its way to a 26-O victory over Oakland High, finishing undefeated in league play for the first time. Beating crosstown rival Piedmont 21-14, the Titans completed the best ever pre-season with a three out of four winning record. Castlemont's Knights were unseated by the rampaging squad, as Theotis Bfrown made two of the three touchdowns leading to a 18-6 victory. Four touchdowns sparked the team to a 27-18 over the McClymonds Warriors. The following week Fremont was defeated 21-12.- Skylines's most impressive victory came against the Oakland Tech Bulldogs, 39-O. A 73-yard run by Theotis Brown accompanied by a touchdown run and pass by quarterback Robert Goady highlighted offensive play, while the defense helped with four turnovers.
