Members of the Oakland Athletic League teams received scholarships from several colleges for their performance during their three years at Skyline. Another scholarship offered to the students was the National Achievement Scholarship for outstanding black students. Three seniors were commended. A special scholarship given by National Merit Scholarship Corporation was earned by a senior boy who received ?p1,400.
