Energetic clubs grow larger Pep ClutrWith almost twice as many members as last year, the 1973-74 Pep Club added much more enthusiasm to the football and basketball season. Bowling Club- ln its second year of competition, the Bowling Club competed with other Bay Area schools but not Oakland Athletic League schools. The twenty member team met every Friday afternoon at Piedmont Avenue Lanes. Sponsor of the club was Mr. Dan Hickey. .g,, Largest crowd ever attends traditional game Jubilant crowds cheered victorious Titans on to their first league title at the Homecoming game against the Oakland High Wildcats, November 16. The view from the stands alternated between low banks of fog and mists of rain. Undaunted by the inclimate weather, halftime festivities included the presentation of the Homecoming princesses and their escorts. Highlighting the evening celebration was the crowning of Queen Erin Riley by last year's queen, Marcia Lee. The Homecoming Dance featured the sounds of the band Saba .
