Indian child helped by club Save the Children Supporting an Indian child, Bernadette Narci, and visiting day care centers in the Bay Area were some of the activities in which the Save the Children Club was involved. Z Club Ushering for school events, making Christmas cards for service men, and entertaining at convalescent homes were some of the community services of the Titan Z club, which is affiliated with Zonta and sponsored by Mrs Kathryn Allen and Miss Wilma Lorentz. Members who met weekly to discuss new activities were Dave Stein, Anita Tilseth, Kathy Ferro, Barbara Raben, Kelly Baker, Cecile Cuttitta, Carolyn Searls, Valerie Chambers, Nanette Slack, lanice Vickers, and Cathy Veretto. fSee club roster for other Save the Children membersl. Minorities gain new insight Asian Student Union Asian Student Union members have made their club successful with many activities. Under the leadership of President William Poh, the club members raised money with candy and fortune cookie sales, Mr. lames Wong sponsored the group. Black Student Union Without sponsor Mr. Charles Weeks for the first semester, the Black Student Union members organized 4 themselves.
