I' 31, . sy kg Varied clubs answer need Sponsored by Mrs. Jean Cosad, the Calif- ornia Scholarship Federation is comprised of students showing outstanding scho- lastic ability. With the help of sponsor, Mrs. Vera White, the members of Math Club worked this year with computers in order to broadenktheir mathematical spectrum of sciences. By touring college campuses, the Scholar- ship Club was able to get a glimpse of what college life is like. The club is sponsored by Mrs. Marjorie Beach, Mrs. Juanita Thomas. CSF officers, Stacy Baba, Floberta Lew, Debbie Ditzler, Kathy Clayton, Linda Chow, make plans for a meeting. CENTER: Math Club members take time to inspect the teletype. C I U b U r S m e d I I n r S Distributive Education Club of America was involved with marketing and merchandising. Members put into practice the techniques of selling, learned in numerous field trips to department stores and advertising agencies, Film Club gave several noontime showings of old time comedy classics to raise money for the rental of other films and to buy film for the clubs own movie making projects. Berkeley Medical Center was the destination of the Future Physicans CIub's first activity. The club, sponsored by Wilbert Yuen, went eff? to surrounding-hospitals and medical centers in the remaining months. In April, a Health Careers Conference was opened to all stu- dents interested in medical careers. Suc- cessful people in health careers, lectured. exhibitied, and showed pertinent films. Microphones, loud speakers and address systems were concerns of Mr. William Rader's Public Address Crew. The audio ef- fects for Dracula , Fiddler on the Roof , the many assemblies, and the sports events were engineered by this same able group. Sponsor of the Sex Education Club is Mr. Richard Campbell. Meeting every week, members discussed planned parenthood along with the idea of zero population growth Public Address Crew members are Kent McNab, Rick Taylor, Al Siver, Edwin Wong, Steve Mark, Roland Lee. ,Z 7 yfyyyffwff ,, 'V i O 2 WH, f Q we Q' .
