Many students wore costumes from their native countries and everyone had the opportunity to buy food from several different lands. The committee was sponsored by Mrs. Mildred Marcus. Theugroup continued with its program of tu- toring at Roosevelt and Parker Junior Highs. Black Student Union, sponsored by Mr. Richard Campbell, also joined in lnternation- al Day. Members were dressed in the mode of their African heritage and cooked soul food to sell during lunch. BSU also partici- pated in the Homecoming parade and put on a dance as a fund raising activity.
