Skyline Divers'qClub, originated by students Doug Chew and Greg Geddes, went on organized dives to Fort Ross, Carmel, Van Dam, and Monterey. Adventure, night diving, ecology clean-up dives, marine biology ex- periments, and spearfishing were topics on' the agenda for each dive. At school the pro- blems of new equipment, films, techniques. and the job of setting up scuba classes for interested students were tackled. The club was sponsored by campus control super- visor, Mr. Joe Williams and teacher, Mr. Bob Ciremele. Ski Club members traveled twice to Sugar Bowl and Bear Valley. Excursions were or- ganized by students Bruce Kadden, Brian Wiele, Carol Simon, and Robin Burns. Mrs. Juliette Dunham and Mr. Clarence Stevenson sponsored the club and its activities. Play Day was the main event for the Eques- trian Club members. Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Charlotte Rich the club went on trail rides and picnics. Activities of the club were organized by Sue Fleming, Cathe Chorness, Diane Purdy, Roberta Termini, Lynn Rose. Under the sponsorship of Mr. William Rader the Alpine Club traveled to Yosemite and went on hikes and clean-ups during the year. Skiers are FRONT ROW: P. Miller, L. Rosenquist, B. Mosle, K. The honor society also sponsored and supervised the annual Sadie Hawkins Day race, and it presented a Hillbilly dance the following evening. During spring, a party was held at which time the sponsors, lVlr. Lawrence Mattal and Mr. Russ Robbins awarded trophies to the fall president, Russ Ratto, the spring president, Karen Schmidt lfirst SSS girl presidentl and the most inspirational member.
