International Day originally scheduled for January 7, was postponed until February 10. Taking full advantage of the warm. spring-like weather, Skyline students and faculty enjoyed a chance to get to know cultures different from their own. The day's activities were as spread out as they were diversified. Events ranged from a movie in the auditorium to groups playing on the foot- ball field. Ethnic foods were sold and a karate demonstration was staged on the Senior Lawn during the course of the day. TOP RIGHT: Ken Yamada watched Charlie Sakamoto and Dale Lee give a karate demonstration on the Lawn. BOTTOM LEFT: Greek dancers perform on Inter- national clay. Gals 'n guys get 'hitched' during dance Sadie Hawkins, sponsored annually by the Spartan Service Society, provided gals with the unique opportunity to fetch their favorite fellers and drag them off to the Dogpatch wedding booths. After the hitching ceremony, each newly married couple traveled through an unforgettable honeymoon tunnel. Afterwards, wedding cake was served, a cider chugging contest was held, and awards were given out to the best dressed L'il Abners and Daisy Nlaes.
