Due to the loss of a teacher and the added responsibility of providing art classes for the new School Within a SchooI program, the classes were unusually large. lVlr. Albin Templeman once again headed the department as he has since 1961. i ,A Business classes perform check cashing experiment i As an accounting lesson, Mr. Larry Mattal wanted to show his students that a check could be written on a human chest and still be cashed. Nick Lenhart supplied the chest and the experiment was a success. ln preparation for their convention, the senior members of the Distributive Education Clubs of America held a candle sale. The students of the rest of the group joined their parents to conduct a candy sale. Heading the business education department in the absence of Mrs. Vivian Siegfried was Mrs. Helen Tomigal. Mrs. Siegfried spent the entire year in the Oakland administration building. She will return to Skyline next year. Doreen Jones, Karla Kinyon.
