Rising costs tax cafe staff Determined to keep student prices down while food prices rise, the patient cafeteria staff daily met the challenge of feeding hundreds of hungry students. Despite the sometimes careless treatment of the plants and grounds, John Cordano and his staff worked hard to keep them the most attractive in the city. Designed to entice disinterested students, the Student Opportunity Program came to Skyline. Planned by Superintendent, Dr. Marcus Foster and Mr. Henry Reynolds, the program was led by Mrs. Deborah Stone and Suzanne McCullock in room 134. Respect for authority was emphasized in the Reserve Officer Training Corps. Supervised by Eliot Curtis and Boyd Williams, the Skyline cadets trained in the classroom and on the field. The drill team won first place of the Oakland schools in the Albany Veterans' Parade. Working various shifts throughout the school day, cafeteria staff includes P. Harris. I. Plemmons, P. Nelson, M. Hutzles, L. Friesen, M. Bugnatto, T. Simmons, M. Hughes, E. Sanders, F. Vanengano, L. Garon. L. Vancil, A. Slawinski, D. Holland, L. Knagas, K. Koyama, N. Munson.
