calendar shows diversity Culminating an era for some, while starting a new one for others the class of '72 graduated with hopes and expectations for their future. The unforgettable year was headed by senior class president, Bart Blumberg, with the aid of his fellow officers. They organized the senior picnic, the assembly, the night affair, and climaxed the year by transporting over four hundred and fifty graduates to Disneyland on June 2. Class of '72 often found itself with such an exuberant amount of spirit, that the lower classmen were often seen stuck in the drain on senior lawn. This same spirit was seen on the field of Piedmont High, in the stands of the Homecoming game, in the bleachers of the Del Valle Tournament, and on the mound of the baseball diamond. ABOVE: Busy trying to write down all the ideas, Nancy Vickers, secretary, gave much of her time to the class. ABOVE RIGHT: Trustworthy treasurer, Denise Chaney, was an integral part of the senior executive board.
