Sophomore and junior class officers planned activities to raise money for their senior years. Lower classmen held sales, conducted car washes, and planned other fund-raising activities such as a flea market and rum- mage sale, a skating party, and a faculty bake sale. The first semester of the class system helped in unifying the student body. The counselors advised each of the three classes. Mr. Henry Bianchi and Mr. Martin Jemo advised the seniors, Mrs. Juanita Thomas and Mrs. Faye Smith assisted the juniors, while Mrs. Marjorie Beach and Miss Valorie Brenan led sophomores in fund-raising projects. Jesse Reyna, junior class president, and Judy O'Young, vice president, discuss plans after the spring elections.
