Gym nasts hold team title Girls' gymnastics team took first place in the Oakland Athletic League compulsary meet given in early January. ln her second year of coaching at Skyline, Mrs. Carmella DiGrazia worked with the girls to retain their first place title. Girls' crew, a member of the Lake Merritt Rowing Club, was coached by Edward Lickis and Don Powelson. The girls practiced every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school. Often the girls had to row in early morning. Their races sent them to Long Beach, Santa Barbara, and for finals, all the way to Seattle.
