V 0 L L E Y D A L L T E A M In spite of this having been the first year our school has had an organized volley ball team, the girls made a remarkably good showing. They took part in 12 games, of which they won 5. With this year's experience behind them the girls will be expected to start off with a bang next year and keep up the good work. The team will, however, miss the ser- vices of Beverly Masters, Betty Jean McDowell, Anna Belle Morton, Geneiva Yeager, and Barbara Dearmont who are mem- bers of the graduating class. The nine girls who made the highest number of points in the games this season and the number of points each made were: Beverly Masters, 47, tary Esther Reynolds, 58, Mary Kempf, 52, Geraldine Yeager,l9, Kathryn Major, 18, Louese Strickler, 18, Betty Jean McDowell, l4, Lois Murphy, 15, and Vivian Wilson, 13. S K I D M O R E W'I L D C A T S With only three of last year's lettermen with which to begin the basketball season, the team, under the coaching of Mr. Walter Smirl, made remarkable progress. The players were'quitefinexperionced, but each boy made commendable individual improvement and by the end of the season was playing much improved ball.
