Sistersville 0, West Union Z7 A tough West Union squad found things to their liking, October 20, as they racked up four touchdowns at Core Field to avenge two consecutive defeats by the Tigers. Murphy, Christie, and Sweeney were the big guns for the visitors as they roared on the ground and through the air. A beautiful pass play, Huston to Gregory, made a touchdown for the Tigers but it was called back by an off- side penalty. Sistersville 7, Pennsboro 59 Smarting under four consecutive defeats at the hands of the Bengals, the Pennsboro Cardinals made the most of a golden opportunity as they pounced on a weakened Tiger eleven to register their most decisive victory. Hanlon, all conference back, made five touchdowns. The only Sistersville touchdown was made by a pass, Lapp to Gregory.
