She would spend all her allowance on Judy Ann and see ThaT she goT To The prom! WhaT she didn'T know was ThaT Judy had Too much pride To accepT her piTy or money. This was The diTTiculTy ThaT Taced her The Tollowing day. Approaching Judy, Eleanore smiled in ThaT lazy Triendly old way she had oT geTTing peope To give in To her charm. BuT To Judy, who was a Tiny Treckled Tace girl, her high school days unlike oTher girls' were unhappy. To her classmaTes Judy was iusT The girl on EasT l4Th . ThaT is, all buT Eleanore Malone-who, alThough well-To-do, sympaThized wiTh Judy. She was The only real Triend Judy had, buT she didn'T wanT Eleanore's sympaThy.
